It's sad this happens pretty much once a week in the US. You'd think that people would take a hint and stop raising their guns at cops. Nope.

It’s insane, I can’t understand the thought process of brandishing a firearm at law enforcement. It’s not a good situation for anyone, especially not the perp.
"but..but..why couldn't they just shoot the mag release button."
The cops dead eye meter was empty and he was out of chewing tobacco.
suicide by cop. people ask the same questions every thread why raise the gun at the cop why do this. you think that guy didn't realize it was impossible to get out of that situation, laying down 2 cops blocking the door. hell i dont even think he shot once and he had a clear shot at both cops. i feel bad for the cops but at the same time feel bad for the person who chose to end their life in a dumb way.
But he had a gun , Couldn't he use that to kill himself ?
"he was such a respectable member of society, he wouldn't have a firearm!"... Can't wait for those remarks and pictures of him dressed up in a suit and tie on the news. I don't give a fuck if you're white, black, blue or orange, you draw a weapon on a police officer, youre going to get shot.
"He was the boy everyone looked up to in school!"
Great, we are fucked.
Where’s the picture with the graduation diploma?
Well yeah. This is how it works. Point a gun at ANYONE who has their own gun and your 1000% gonna get shot
“Young men have been having fights involving firearms for eons. We do not need police to address these situations by showing up to the scene & using a weapon against young men.” /s
I found the video to be satisfying.
Why did they blur the TV?
Maybe the buttons were female
“it was his phone”
looked like one of those pistol gripped universal tv remotes to me.
That girl didn't not give two shits at all. She didn't even leave the room when the cops walked out for cover. God damn.
You're sure? Who would you imagine saying that?
We've probably seen this exact thing happen on camera 2,000+ times since the introduction of police body cams and the regular publication of footage. Shitheads keep doing it, and police keep rightfully shooting them.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes...
What are people thinking at a case when they get their gun and try to (maybe) shot at police? "oh, hey if I can shot them down then..." then what? They win something? Or they can get away with it? Someone please enlighten me
I don’t get the downvotes.
You basically asking, if your plans work this time what’s your next move.
It’s not like it gets easier after the first cop. You get put on a list, honey Bunches of law enforcement ready to take you down.
Bruh just take the jail time, you ain’t gonna win
So when the protest lads? Cops enter a home and shoot a man resting in his bed.
We'll ignore why they got called out and pretend the gun never existed.
But hOw dId ThEy kNow hE wAs gOnNa uSe iT??
Keep em coming bitte!
That woman blocking field of view, knew what was up😒
The axon body spray has a high lead content. Really dangerous.

Watch him get put in court for something like this
If people werent so scared to go to prison they wouldnt throw their life away trying to save it.
There is no deescalation when a person pulls a firearm in that scenario. He made a choice (a poor one) and there is a consequence.
dumb lives matter!
dumb lives matter!
dumb lives matter!
be careful what you say
This is a joke right? Please tell me this is a joke.
Is it just me or did this subreddit go from mildly amusing and comical to down right batshit insane in little more than half a decade? Wtf is this shit it doesn’t seem real at all anymore.
did they have a warrant? just walked in.
How is it news to you that if the sole occupant of the home allows them in to get someone out of the home they don't need a warrant?
The cops shouldve each taken one bullet before shooting him. How could they be sure he was a threat unless he shoots them?
Why should the cops have to risk death before responding i defense? Of course they weren’t sure, but if someone raised a gun at you, would YOU wait to be shot before shooting them?
Maybe it’s not a great idea that everyone can just buy a gun? While the US police often acts poorly I still feel bad for them. Must be super scary if you encounter so many armed idiots all the time and they still get zero respect, while the Veterans are treated like super heroes.
Wouldn't have gone different if he pulled a knife though
A place to see people freaking out, going wild, and losing their cool in a public context.
The freakout is king here. I can't define a freakout, but I know it when I see one.
