Did you make the costume? The cleanness of it is what jumps out to me the most. That jumper or whatever you'd call it is too good to be amateur, and seems too specific to be coincidental store find.

The photoshoot can take 30 min or 3h 😂 it's always different. And I personally make my own costumes, so that takes the longest. Usually a month or so

I sadly don't have many progress pictures, maybe just a couple. Idk the name of the main fabric, but for the rest I used eva foam and faux leather ^^

It's nice to see a genderbender-cos every now and then, but Deku is supposed to be this inward turned nerd with bad posture and no people skills. The body talk and facial expressions convey surety of self, calmness (not totally out of character, tho Deku is normally only calm when scribbling hero nonsense on paper or watching Allmight montages). The suit is nice, props to creator. If its your own craft, I'd say nice work. Just try to stay a bit more in character and its 10/10 :)
...Not everyone has to be THAT committed to the costume. I don't even cosplay and I feel like each cosplayer should have their own personalities reflected with their costumes rather than be forced to act exactly like the character. What about those who cosplay as villains? Are they supposed to "stay in character?"

But I think he only did the school uniform designs, right? I haven't seen any hero suit designs

You're half-right at most. On the flipside, there exist people as of this moment who think Deku is a lil bitch but if he were female they'd think Deku is okay to act the way he acts. There will always be a subsection who'd hate his character, regardless of gender.
