The databank has an entry that's a translation too (which I just realized, oops) but it's signed by a "General Markon" of the 201st Squadron.
What probably happened was the texture was made while it was still Griegan, but for whatever reason the name got changed later on in developement and since this is a relatively obscure detail, they didnt bother fixing it.
No entry for General Griegan on wookieepedia. This is probably the first time I’ve ever seen someone in universe with a name not have an entry. They even have entries for bit clones, like Sergeant Hound.
Perhaps the archives are incomplete?
I wonder if anyone's keeping track of the various Imperial Code numbers, to see if any are reused by different productions. Unlikely, but funny.
Wait what is this? I don't remember this.
Zeffo, the 2nd planet you go to, has a small village you have to pass through. On the doors of the huts are these signs.
Holy shit. I just realized I can read Aurebesh.
I always thought those were just gibberish symbols? You mean to tell me that’s an actual alphabet? TIL
I recommend printing aurebesh alphabet when playing Star Wars games or watching series, decrypting these texts is fun!
I used to have it memorized back in the day, now I have to look it up on my phone.
Empire is actually pretty fair for the most part as far as tyrannical dictatorships go.
Post this on r/gamingdetails
Generally speaking, aurebesh texts do say something in any games, because they know people will go translate them
What use is it when everyone in the star wars universe can't read anyway? 🤣😇
Plenty of people can read it. I’m currently in the process of learning it
