This annoyed me cause I wanted to search for loot
As you can see I wanted to charge my dead eye for a cool breach. John just had to be impatient
And every other mission where the gang asks you do something and you don't do it, for eg when dutch asks you to blow up trees in when the army passes by. There is whole mission that will be skipped if you don't do it for too long, Pourin forth oil 2. By skipped i mean john does it instead.
That was a horrible kick animation.

Wait has RDR2 always had a 1st person mode? I played it on release and can't remember that being part of it.
it had one since release
It seems like the developers of RDR2 thought of everything.
Except for making the game fun
Edit: Downvote me all you want, I 100% stand by this statement.
I didnt even know you could play Red Dead 2 in First Person
I'm doing a full play through in it.
Lemme just walk in front of Dutch and John's guns right quick.
I didnt charge my deadeye just to get cock blocked by scarface and gravity
Detail? Maybe. Another example of Rockstar's increasing need to play the game for me? Probably.
I thought Dutch did it? Or I could be wrong
That's not that big of a deal tbh.
Several games out there where if you take too long to do an action your ally will just do it for you.
I was going to do a bad ass entrance tho. Smoke a cigar and deadeye in
So i can keep the guns i want when i do this?
Use the gun locker. Or change guns before getting on the boat at the beginning.
Not really a gaming detail, more so a method to railroad the story.
I think this is a bad 'game detail'. Lots of games have situations where it'll step in if the player isn't tripping a progression trigger.
Just found this out last night while looting bodies before going in.
Ew, first person
