This is the future. Drive just like humans in strip malls.
Marketing team: “ realistic AI”
* A wild Tesla appears *
It hurt itself in its confusion!
<*edited to encompass more eee’s*>
Why is everything chrome?
The range on the Smart Summon is not super far. The owner is certainly within eyesight of the crowd watching their car doing stupid things, if they're not already in that crowd
I think the guy says "... second time it's driven up on the curb on me," then I can't catch the rest.
We need an altogether new sub for this...
Getting that early investment on self driving memes
I'm guessing the human is driving it via the summon feature? In which case, still the human.
This is next level AI: it's learning from other cars
Well… nobody is perfect. I finally have something in common with a computer + ai
I was born to be awesome, not perfect ;)
And people are actually impatiently waiting for self driving tractor trailers!
Tesla is like we've been trying to get up with you about your car's extended warranty.
So does the driver use joysticks on their phone or do they just press and hold a button and the car is supposed to navigate on its own to the driver?
It's supposed to navigate on its own to the driver from what I have read. If someone that owns a Tesla knows more, I would love to hear a first person perspective.
Edit: apparently from viewing other comments, the owner of the car controls this feature and it is not autonomous.
If I see American flags on a car while I'm driving I automatically know it's some idiot to be avoided.
Full self driving is too buggy and experimental right now.
It’s one thing if you want to pull your car out of a tight spot remotely (like Hyundai smaht pahk) but I wouldn’t trust the car to navigate with no one in it
Obviously skynet is at fault
🇺🇸The flags make it🇺🇸
I blame the owner. Its never going to behave right if you don't train it right. SMH.
The Tesla clearly said “Freedom!” once the American flags were put on and drove off.
Lol this things driving like a 20 year old girl who just left the starbucks drive thru.
Well Elon did say “as good or better than a human driver.” He didn’t say *which* human driver.
Oh look, Homer has one of those self driving cars.
One of those *american* self driving cars
That is one patriotic car.
I remember when what 2017 when self-driving cars were the hot thing that was just about to come out and take over.
2030 new subreddit: r/IdiotRobotsInCars
I got the flag playa, I got the flag
Mine doesn’t like to go over the hump to get into the garage lol
Reason 4,643 to not buy one.
Of course, Walmart parking lot…..where else?
TRANSFORMERSSSS MORE THAN MEETS THE EYYEEEEE
Is this just cuz it’s trying to back into the parking space that is angled that way?
I would say Elon's the idiot since no one is driving.
dont @ me fred
Since it’s a Tesla. The answer is elon
Wouldn't hesitate to smash the fuck out of it if it were trying to run over my bike. Old man in the video just making sure his isn't run over too, haha
Elon Musk is the answer.
It's being confused by the people standing around it. Cars are sensitive creatures!
When your car gets a dwi
Why do people who drive Tesla’s think there gods
The flags just make it that much better. 🇺🇲🇺🇲
“Who’s the idiot if nobody is driving?..” it’s Elon… Elon is the idiot…
Either him or whomever approved the sale of these cara to the public, Im sure him or they have a name but idk
Poor thing is just trying to end its own life after someone stuck stupid dollar store flags on it.
Flags look so tacky on trucks let alone a sedan lol
Started with the idiot human, will continue with the idiot human, Idiot Tesla a very close second.
Everyone thinks the Tesla "auto pilot" feature is a full on auto pilot when in reality it's just a super advanced Cruise control.. you still need to have both hands on the wheel and still be ready to take over when the system fails... I was driving on the freeway the other day and saw someone straight napping on the road while their Tesla was on "auto pilot" fuckin thing almost hit me twice
Tesla actually is pretty reckless calling their cars autonomous when they actually sport the weakest sensor arrays (only cameras and one radar) over premium cars that have radar in each corner + camera.
Just imagining the tesla truck going over anything and everything autonomously
Summoning feature is obviously confused by a pack of idiots standing around watching it.
Seems to me that summoning feature isn't a finished future yet if it gets confused so easily.
Glad I didn’t option mine with the $10k self driving/summon option.
The Car Is The Idiot, I Don't Say Nothing More
I guess it's not surprising to see a Walmart in the background. No hate though, love my tesla
That old guy owns it. He was saying “it’s the second time it’s drove up on the curb on me” as if it’s a dog and it’s “the second time he’s run off on me”. Fucking moron
Easy. Elon Musk.
I will never comprehend why people think self driving cars are a good idea. What would have happened if that killed someone? Who would be responsible?
That’s one of the main debates about self driving cars. Is it the car maker, the car owner, the company who wrote the software code, the government for lack of proper road markings/signage…?
For anyone wondering, with the tesla Summon feature, the user controls the car with their phone, this is entirely on the user AKA idiot for letting it drive on the curb.
It’s the USA flags for me 😂
“That bitch is driving itself!” LOL.
