THIS IS AMAZING.
The only thing that would make this an even other level is if there were volume sliders for each sound so users could kind of mix their own sound.
I’m guessing people in this thread have wildly different office experiences. I also miss working in an office, but we’re a small company with very little (if any) micromanagement. When the boss or coworkers used to come to my desk, they were usually coming to chat or get an opinion, not bugging me about the thing they dropped off yesterday. I can’t imagine having work in a office plagued with micromanagement and backstabbing coworkers.
> I miss working in an office
...what?!
As someone who's been required back at the office for months now, I find this mindset confusing, bewildering and even a little offensive.
Get me the the fuck away from this awful place!
WFH when your job benefits from being in an office is tough. If you can fully do your job at home tho, it’s totally different.
We suffer by being away from people too long in my industry so I miss it. But if I just worked in a call center or something where my work was my work and that’s that and there’s no benefit of collaboration I’d never want to go back.

For me, the separation between work and home is clutch. Currently there are two of us working from home in a space that does not have room for that many desks, so I have to work from the kitchen table more often than not.
Collaboration was a lot easier when I could stand up and walk fifteen seconds over to my coworker's desk instead of trying to reach them via IM so that we can find time to jump on Zoom.
Talking to more than just the same eight people on my team from work is also lacking. Harder to have casual conversations without finding time or bouncing back and forth on IM forever.
That storage area behind the conference room with the folding walls at least \*partially\* explains how the conference room table continually appears/disappears. But man, that thing looked huge and heavy, so I'm still not sure.
For the longest time I assumed there were two conference rooms- one with the table, one empty with just chairs.
You have no idea how much this will help me sleep. Even just hearing the "ring.... Dunder Mifflin this is Pam" made me feel comforted and ready for bed
Why the absolute fuck would you miss working in an office? An office is absolutely one of the last places on the earth I would want to spend the majority of my life, and up until about a year ago was on trajectory to be exactly that, the one place I was going to have to spend the majority of my life.
I've almost binge watched the entire show for the first time, it feels like an office I've actually been in now. This confirms that fact, I looked it over, everything checks out.
This is a subreddit based around sharing awesome, usually minimal and single-purpose websites and webtools.
Also, note to self: If this subreddit gets huge, awesome, if it does not, I will simply use it to back up my bookmarks! << top kek
Sure, I'm dissapointed you guys removed my post, I was keen to hear what people on the Internet thought of it. But it mainly saddens me to see beauty constrained by such tyranny

I never noticed that extra couch and space outside of the break room. Also, who sits at all of the empty desks?
I think these guys showed the couch once when Darryl composed an Ad song for the Dunder Mifflin Ad. Loved that one lol.
The ones in the annex are usually empty, except for the last few seasons when the interns came in!
Hey some guy with a tiny server created a model of the dundermifflin office, let's post it on Reddit. RIP tiny server

**site is back up**. Got a beefier server. Did not expect this reddit, I've underestimated you.
THIS IS AMAZING. The only thing that would make this an even other level is if there were volume sliders for each sound so users could kind of mix their own sound.
Yes yes! That's was the plan but I whipped this up in like 2 days. Depending on how much interest I get I'll continue upgrading
Alright guys, **site is back up**. Please don't crash this reddit, already burning a tiny hole in my pocket!
This is great! Thank you.
I swear I thought Accounting was on the other side of the room. Am I the only one? I thought it was across from Pam's desk where Creed is.
I thought that until I started noticing Angela and Pam's interactions over the wall.

Not working, is the site down?
Same
Wait what do you miss about working in an office?
I miss socializing with my coworkers.
I miss having a dedicated, physical separation point between work and home.
I miss being able to solve some problems by simply walking to someone's desk and talking to them for 3 minutes.
I miss being anywhere other than inside of a one-bedroom apartment 23 hours a day.
Why on earth do you miss working in an office?
Some people like the social aspect of it. Working from home has been like groundhog day for me.
You miss working at the office? Ok Dwight.

If you check careers down the bottom, looks like they're currently recruiting
Oh yeah they are :)

wow, this is incredible, great work
That ambient noise is low key asmr
YOU MISS WORKING IN AN OFFICE?? Why?
You and I are very different people, but I love this. Parks and Rec would be a fun one too!

Only comment, you are missing Daryl/Jim's office near creeds desk.
It replaces that desk clump later on in the show.
How did you make the picture?
I only just saw this, but I'm expecting at some point Dwight is going to curse at Jim and yell for Michael.
Yes Yes Yes. He does a lot more!
Isn’t accounting next to the men’s room, not behind reception?
It actually changes tbh. Remember when Jim finds about Dwight ans Angela? Behind reception.
Where’s Pam’s desk?
I thought accounting sat in the bottom right and Creed in the top right?
*I thought accounting*
*Sat in the bottom right and*
*Creed in the top right?*

Is it possible to show how much viewership has gone down since the office went to peacock? I’d love to see that
Oh that's hard.

Come on u/cbsudux, at least credit the author: Drawbotics :) Good one on the sound though!
I did! I credited them below the image. Is it not visible? I'll have to increase the font size.
Im still wondering why people miss work place offices and cubicals.
I don't work in a cublicle, I work at a wework. Has it's pros and cons, but definitely miss the ambiance.
This is awesome.
What I find interesting is that you miss working in an office. I'm curious, why?
For me, the separation between work and home is clutch. Currently there are two of us working from home in a space that does not have room for that many desks, so I have to work from the kitchen table more often than not.

I don't think the phrase, "I miss working in an Office." has ever been uttered, so congrats I guess.

But man, that thing looked huge and heavy, so I'm still not sure. For the longest time I assumed there were two conference rooms- one with the table, one empty with just chairs.
Thanks for this! I have a kid working and studying overseas and The Office is his comfort food watching. He loves it!
Who misses working in an office though?
Now which of these areas is where the conference table is stored?
looks like you got the old reddit work yourself to death in the office
Very cool. Should name the closet Ryan’s office.
Theres copyright on sound recordings though.
The old hug of death
only a fan of the office would say something so nave, so droll as to be happy being a slave
>I miss working in an Office Do such people exist?
You have no idea how much this will help me sleep. Even just hearing the "ring.... Dunder Mifflin this is Pam" made me feel comforted and ready for bed
You miss working in an office? Wtf
OMG. I DID NOT EXPECT THIS RESPONSE. You guys crashed my AWS server. I'm upgrading ASAP.
Never realized that the kitchen and the break room were two separate things...
Hahaha me too!
I think you have the Accounting section in the wrong spot. I thought it was where Creed's desk is in your diagram.
I came to say the exact same thing.
Why the absolute fuck would you miss working in an office? An office is absolutely one of the last places on the earth I would want to spend the majority of my life, and up until about a year ago was on trajectory to be exactly that, the one place I was going to have to spend the majority of my life.
This is great. *I could play with this all day long..*.
THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID
Nice work, I'd love to see one based on the UK Office
Ah Ricky Gervais would be a fun one. That's next on the list once I watch it :)
I hope they talk about this on Office Ladies
Isn't this missing Daryl/Jim's office?
Where's Jim's manager office? When him and Michael were 'co-managers'?
I was literally thinking about how cool would it be to get a plan of the office! Rewatching it second time now. Nice one!
I thought that url said WonderMifflin and thought that was clever.
I've almost binge watched the entire show for the first time, it feels like an office I've actually been in now. This confirms that fact, I looked it over, everything checks out.
Where's MegaDesk?
I really want to throw this in roll20 and put a bbeg in Michael's office
shoulda gone for de_office
anyone know the software used to make this? i'd like to model my living room and decide how i want to re-arrange it
I want to see this. But no worky :-(
[Listen To A Movie](http://www.listentoamovie.com) is also entertaining.
