Very nice! How do you go about creating texture and depth? Whenever I try to do landscape/natural I always just kinda randomly place things until it looks ok lol
Promising skills, and I think you have a knack for trees in particular. It took me absolutely ages to get good at those.
If I had a few words of constructive criticism, it would be that the landscape is a little on the flat side. With the dirt top soil, maybe try some kind of overhang and elevation change - something to break up that plain layered look. I don't know if you've heard of Goodtimeswithscar, but [his landscaping style](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/SlFH-UYTsXg/maxresdefault.jpg) has been the absolute benchmark of inspiration when it came to honing my landscaping skills in minecraft over the past few years.
Something else you can always improve with your skills is block palette, something I still try to get better at to this day - which isn't particularly hard, seeing as just how many geological and nature-based additions we're getting to play with in the next update!
Ferns are a great way to spice up plan grass, as well as using bonemeal for height variation. Try to think logically - maybe it makes sense for there to be more pebbles and reeds closer to the water. I can see you're already employing that mentality with your focused use of plants towards the bottom of the cliff, and basalt by the edge of he stream as a dampened stone variant.
Ya when I finished I totally forgot that I left the top flat, yes I have heard of scar and grass isn’t one of my strong points, I do wish to get better at it though
To be honest, It looks absolutely amazing. However If you are trying to make this a really big terrain then it will take a lot of time, you should try World Painter (That can help you create your own worlds and you can even design the terrain) if you want to make this massive!
Link: [https://www.worldpainter.net/](https://www.worldpainter.net/)
I think it looks great. The texturing is awesome. My only criticism would be the trees looking a little skinny, but vene then it still looks pretty good.
The one sk at every builder needs is to be able to terraform, and i would say that you pulled it off pretty well.
You are heading in the right direction
I always turn to RDR for support. The terrain in that game is beautiful especially around lakes. This one reminds me of something that’d be in that game. Love it.
Try to get gradients in your wall texture and mix up the terrain. A cliff for example is never just a Wall with a plain on top of it. Get some boulders in there and look for reference online.
You should try to build other shapes not Just cliffs that go straight down. When you say minecraft landscape that first thing people build is a cliff. It's cool tho.
I think you did an excellent job flattening the terrain! I admire your patience. However, I think you missed a very aesthetic spot in the photo! The area with the really cool river and varied surface. I wish you luck in flattening the rest.
That area is so flat trash
Jk you did a great job It for some reason make me thing of a halfpipe like skaters use (ADHD brain) but fr no matter how hard I look I don't see a problem other than that there isn't more
Regular check up here \**Let's see here, whats first on the list*\* Ah! Things you can improve! Ok, let's take a look at that. Good, good, good, wait a second, I can't find anything! I will lose my job!!!!
Wow that's really good but the leaves are too bright which I think can be bypassed by shearing the leaves of a grown tree of that type so the colour stays - remember to use different leaves for texture too!
I would proboly add a bit more fade to those ledges , maybe a few rock formations going over the side , but everything else is a 10/10.
Again , this is just personal preferences tho.
Pretty good for a starter! I would recommend doing gradients for cliffs as they often get more pop:)
And try bending the cliff back towards the edge, so it’s more shapes like a banana, good luck!
Looks really good from the picture you took down in the area but the pictures above shows that the area with grass just goes flat after having so much built up to it. Stonework looks really good tho
“You’re pretty good.”
Hope you get the reference. Didn’t want to ruin the reference by saying the fact that it’s a reference but this is a Minecraft post so...
Good job!
Some of the ways you could improve it would be to add more hills on top. You could try to make more contured edges between different stone parts to make out boulders; and you could have some angle in the river so it looks like it has some flow.
I read in the comments that it's made in bedrock - does it have world edit?
By using water metadata water:#(0-15) you can elevate the look of your river.
Best of luck with your terraforming!
Looks awesome. Now, I don't know shit about building (including terrain building) but I think that if you put more leaves on the trees would be much better. Like what you did but not leaving those layers of no leaves. i think that could be cooler
That superflat landscape looks dope! Sadly you missed a spot that kept getting in the way with its water and hills. After you clear that up it'll look sick!
Very nice! How do you go about creating texture and depth? Whenever I try to do landscape/natural I always just kinda randomly place things until it looks ok lol
Tbh for texture I just throw a bunch of similar blocks together and it works and depth it depends on what you are making
You should look into worldpainter, you'll love it (:
1. I have no idea what that is
2. I have bedrock
I think it's cool! Great job!
Thank you!
Fire but more trees or thicker trees would be cool! This is meant to be constructive and the build looks sick!
Dang bro that looks sick
I say awesome job!
Been seeing these all day this is like the third one. If this keeps up, you’ll have a whole map ready by the end of the week lol
Lol ya sorry, just trying to learn how to terrain, and there may be a fourth which is the final one
Terrain Building's so fun good Job though!
looks like chunk error but with style
I like this comment

Looks awesome to me and probably everyone
I love the tree design. Reminds me of what Good Times with Scar does.
I love it
Awesome
Looks like a Bob Ross painting
Wow that’s amazing
fiftey five trillion times better than me
отличный старт, выглядит хорошо
Благодарность
I’ll allow it
This is fucking gold
How about beside the trees put in some hills. Still it was very good.
I just realized that I left the top totally flat, and you aren’t the only one who hates the trees, I’ll see what I can do
I mean you did a do. But you did a good do.

Sadly I have bedrock so world painter will be for another time
"You missed a spot" - Obama, probably
Looks great! Looking forward to a potential large scale project of yours.
Yes
Looks great, reminds me of good times with scar
Biggest inspiration of them all
Noice
This looks really good! Nice job.
You did amazing!! It looks a lot like something you would find naturally in a Minecraft world//Server
ngl... its uhhh.. its pretty flat. Your superflat terrian doesnt match that small ravine someone made.
Tbh when I finished I didn’t realize at all that I left the top flat
Great!
This looks very good! The only critique I can give is the sharp transition between grass and rock. But overall it's still very good!
Ya I’m still working on the grass part
"Better than whatever I build" is what I can tell you
Looks like Cold Stream from L4D2. I hate Cold Stream. Fuck you
What is cold stream?
Looks cool, but kinda "unminecraftistic"
if you put a dark cave on both sides it could look relay good with your landscaping strengt
That sounds like a project
awesome!
I think it looks great. The texturing is awesome. My only criticism would be the trees looking a little skinny, but vene then it still looks pretty good.
I’m not a tree builder I can say that, but thank you
Cool
Nice trees!
So my family refers to me as the family Terraformer so take this with the full backing of a four person family, looks great
The terrain is very nice, but your trees look a little bit sparse
It's super nice, I like it
Holy shit, that's really good!
Not bad!!
The one sk at every builder needs is to be able to terraform, and i would say that you pulled it off pretty well. You are heading in the right direction
Looks lovely
Amazing!
This is amazing.I am intrested in what you have created it is beutiful.TAKE MINE UPVOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bruh i know you are some professional minecraft builder. This is not begginer level stuff
Tbh when I started I was surprising myself with what I could do
I rate this yes out of 10
Better than I could do
Very nice Shiza-san
*cries in many attempts to terraform*
Don’t worry you’ll get there someday
I always turn to RDR for support. The terrain in that game is beautiful especially around lakes. This one reminds me of something that’d be in that game. Love it.

That looks quite good! Try to get a bit more natural block placements and you're set!
Absolutely phenomenal, I'd play literally 24/7 if the game had detail like that
damn it looks almost like a generation mod a really good one
Don’t worry as far as Ik I don’t think I can get that on bedrock
Don’t worry it looks amazing!
I really like the use of basalt to create wet stone! Gonna steal this one for own builds, thank you!
Very good
Maybe if you make more and make it bigger you can start making adventure maps
I actually have tried to start making one, just don’t have enough patients for big things like that with school and everything
I think it looks cool! \^u\^
Tell it to the upvotes
Looks sick dude
amazing!
Yo, this is... fucking amazing.
That's amazing there tons of detail in the river bank and within the trees
You should try to build other shapes not Just cliffs that go straight down. When you say minecraft landscape that first thing people build is a cliff. It's cool tho.
Yes.
Awesome dude!
Keep it up
I think you did an excellent job flattening the terrain! I admire your patience. However, I think you missed a very aesthetic spot in the photo! The area with the really cool river and varied surface. I wish you luck in flattening the rest.
I think it's very nice!
I envy your trees
Everybody does
Download?
I have bedrock Idk if you can do that
HOW DO YOU DO YOU LIKE ME AND I LIKE YOU COME AND TAKE MY BY THE HAND CUZ I WANNA BE YOUR FRIEND
very nice
very cool, I love terraforming and building/designing my own terrain. Mine looks very similar to yours, great use of the basalt too!
That area is so flat trash Jk you did a great job It for some reason make me thing of a halfpipe like skaters use (ADHD brain) but fr no matter how hard I look I don't see a problem other than that there isn't more
I don't like the sharp edges
Very good. I'd like to see the depth and detail from the cliff expanded to the grassland/forestfloor.
Ya I’ve been struggling with outlining with grass, I got to find some nice techniques.
Looks good but you shouldn't mix random blocks with the stone like that, instead go for bigger patches of a different block.
It looks very good ,although you could raise the water by 3 blocks.
I have a version with raised water, idk If it looks better or not
Better than me
Looks really nice!
Looks like terrain to me, mission success
If this is you starting id like to see ur work in few years holy hell thts cool!
You just started? Impressive. Looks like you've got a green thumb.
Is this bedrock?
Lol it is just saw the comment as a fellow bedrock player this is inspiring cus most the cool builds on this sub are just java.
It's perfect. i can't even build a single tree-
Nice
Fucking amazing, keep it up! Honestly I’m shocked how good it is. Man I wish I was this good.
Im no builder but it looks pretty good
Trees could use some more leaves i think, everything else looks very good
Amazing gl in the future
Excellent. Especially the trees!
realy good.
You managed to make a whole world flat and leave A hill
Regular check up here \**Let's see here, whats first on the list*\* Ah! Things you can improve! Ok, let's take a look at that. Good, good, good, wait a second, I can't find anything! I will lose my job!!!!

I like how you mixed in the basalt at the bottom
Pretty good for a starter! I would recommend doing gradients for cliffs as they often get more pop:) And try bending the cliff back towards the edge, so it’s more shapes like a banana, good luck!
Probably better than I ever will.
little bit chunky
Looks really good from the picture you took down in the area but the pictures above shows that the area with grass just goes flat after having so much built up to it. Stonework looks really good tho
This is actually really good ! GG
“You’re pretty good.” Hope you get the reference. Didn’t want to ruin the reference by saying the fact that it’s a reference but this is a Minecraft post so...
For "getting into it" very good. A Edit: I really like the trees.
Yay somebody likes the trees
It's nice
Really good man!
Keep it up man!
Loggers
amazing
We will watch your career with great interest
This looks amazing!
seed?
It’s flat world and I’m on bedrock
this is so good i actually think it should be added in
Looks like bdubs kinda work 👍
Very good but you need to try build in every bimon and try different building styles
Amazing. I personally don't like the blackstone, maybe substitute with gravel. Nonetheless, its aweosme.
Looking good
That is good landscape. Nice canyon
Pardon me WHAT
You did great

Amazing
it looks pretty nice, but I think Conquest Reforged woud fit very well for your style of building.
Not bad but there are a lot of improvements can be made.

You did good
The use of basalt is amazing and I never thought of that
I like the trees! You should add some flowers
good enough for an upvote
Ooo marvelous
Ju did pwity vell
Damn ur pretty good
I mean, you made me realize just how simple actual Minecraft is, so I'd say you did good.
wonderful!
I like the trees and the river, but why is it all flat on the side? I don’t think nature does that?
