She's not talking to the combatants, she's talking to the civillians. She's actually right. Doing this gives them a number of tactical advantages: * They can go faster if they run downhill * Being on the high ground makes them more visible to the orcs * It gives their soldiers more space on the high ground to operate.
What if she's playing minecraft PvP? The low ground is advantageous there because the attacks come from high up so if you position yourself right you can sweep their feet but they can't reach you.
