Nah, y'all need to stop making everything about romance when two people of the same sex show affection towards each other. Even when girls kiss each other, it's not "proof" of them being gay. And telling your friend you love him or just being generally friendly in a non-stereotypical, jockular way isn't at all necessarily romantic.
