That's a career.
She had picture day circled on her calendar for that nurse practitioner job.
That is awesome! My psychiatrist did this too. He moved to the US from Spain, was an environmental service employee and worked his way through MD school in psychiatry. Glad he did!
I mean cool and all, but why are there so many black people tweets on r/whitepeopletwitter , when there is a whole sub dedicated to black people tweeting?
It belongs on r/nextfuckinglevel right where OP found it
Hey stranger, I wanted drop some admiration and respect on your dedication and focus!
This looks easy from the outside, but you made a lot of sacrifices during those 10 years.
I hope you're proud of your accomplishments and see the potential to help so many patients and inspire so many young girls.
This is amazing and very inspiring! Good bless you!
Send this to the girl that put in the work not the person who posted a screenshot
Brilliant. Also... why don’t you age?!
Black dont crack
That is super badass.
Why is this in r/whitepeopletwitter
Work sis, congratulations 🍾!
What an amazing journey!
Congrats. Unbelievable accomplishment. Well done.
Take my only award
That's cool but being a janitor is also an extremely valid job, I'm glad that you make more though but I hope you don't define your worth by your job status
Fantastic stuff! Congrats
Or you know, you (the state) could have financed her studies from the start so she would have had more years of service as a nurse or as a nurse in trauma surgery, essentially paying the community back with her care and services. But no, instead we decide to glorify what we think is hard work when it's just unnecessary hurdles to our personal and collective well being. Going to school is hard work already, you don't need to add a massive work load, an expensive and long lasting debt to that.
Its alright, I don't think it is the state's responsibility to pay for my studies. That is my responsibility and my responsibility only. I am just grateful to this country for giving us the chance and the conditions to study and work at the same time. No one has handed me nothing for free in my life and I am not expecting no one to do it either.
That’s a starter Pokémon!
This is inspiring but still kinda sad. I just spent 20 years in the same job and was only promoted once. I wish I had set better goals like she did!
damn I am still at "RN" level
I'm sorry to hear that you got demoted from janitor and have to deal with dumb hospital shit. I hope it gets better for you.
White people tweeting stuff.
