Sheila's almost never a good option. But when she is?
Then Sheila is the *best* option.

I main Rampart besides Caustic. You are right, but its situational, like in this video. I had quite number of above situations, but most of the time, when I start firing shiela, the whole squamates whom are fighting each other will turn to my direction and rain down their full firepower at my Amped walls.
It’s not an end ring without an octane using a launch pad to rush you with a shotgun.
TIL that end ring is just ring 1.

Rampart isn't a good character, but she should be respected. Never leave a Rampart unattended and let her set up, especially in the open. In open areas Sheila is incredible, possibly one of the best abilities in the game.
Beautiful play
Rampart is really good after buffs and the introduction of golden mags. Enjoying a Spitfire-Devo build with her this season and her amped cover is so much better now too.
I enjoy her a lot.. I think people underestimate her, at least in pubs.

Is why Rampart is basically useless in pubs. No discipline, no regards for teammates you'll never see again.

I feel like playing rampart can only benefit you. She makes you focus more on cover and positioning. Her kit supplements this so well with the ability to extend your cover

People have to start understanding that rampart isn't actually that weak you just have to play her differently.

Damn I do the same type of shit when I'm hype but you had no business jumping off the high-ground to engage the last enemy 1 on 1 hahah. You had high-ground, protection from barriers, and you gave all that up for a standard 1v1 in the open. Like you said, if your teammate didn't shield, that other guy was winning the game I think.

I love playing Rampart in Ranked because it forces me to play a little slower -- if I'm playing Octane or somebody with an escape, I'll often put myself in bad situations. Also her shields blocking doors is really nice, from the inside or the outside
