I play Revenant only for battle pass but got lucky and have the 2000 damage badge on him and my only revenant tracker says "Revives: 0". Played him again and my teammate asked me "You never revive?" but I had to admit it says 0 because I'm always the one who needs the revive
Honestly same with the damage tracker... I played him once for a challenge and he’s the only character I have a 3000 dmg badge for. The closest I got before that was with pathfinder who I have half my playtime and kills with .-.
Yesterday a teammate wrote "noob" in chat (I was dying in ring). I typed back "yes"...I thought he was going to leave me there, but then he came to revive me and wrote "happens"...
Eventually we got the win (both slightly carried by the third random)!
lol yesterday i got in a fight and flanked the team and killed the whole team, one of my mates died in the fight and said noob you dont know how to play the game
I remember going into ranked and me and my mate had a Lifeline random. They did absolutely everything in their power to protect us and we just decided "ok, we need to protect this Lifeline with our lives". We placed in the Top 3 and I owe that Lifeline a huge deal for a great game. There are dickish Lifelines and then you have giga-chads like that.
P.S. I am a very bad Rev. Tips anyone?
Edit: I'd like to thank everyone who replied with tips and such. You guys have made my day and are supremely helpful :)
You can shoot and throw your tactical at the same time. Place your totem where there’s at least 2 points of cover whenever possible. If your death protection times out after taking damage you’ll be left with the same amount of health, so try and not get stuck at low hp. Rev’s passive makes him an excellent flanker, so try to get the most out of it. Not a rev main, but I love having them on my team and still use him occasionally so other than that i’d say it’s just gamesense, map knowledge and gunplay
I’m not gonna lie, I main Mirage because he’s attractive.
I also find it quite helpful to have the decoys when my biggest weakness is evasion: if a decoy distracts the enemy long enough that I can get my aim straight, that’s good enough for me!
I main Lifeline, but I'm only an average player. Sometimes my teammates are too nice and give me gold bags when they get them... The pressure to survive is too much.
I try to make it my duty whenever I play lifeline to use doc but 9 times out of 10 my random teammates never use him or I’m forced to use my broken controller
The worst is when you go out of your way to give your teammate doc, they run away and loot or something, then they ping that they need health 20 seconds later. Enjoy the 45 second cool down, fool
That moment when you get a lifeline that sticks to you and your number one mission is “GET OFF MY LIFELINE!! She will be Protected” but sometimes there are those that don’t know how to play lifeline
Playing Lifeline (i should add *”well”*) can sometimes feel like a whole new game. Your teammate goes down out in the open, and an entire new avenue of approach opens up to you within that battle
Sprinting out to them and sliding into position to avoid fire and then pivoting to throw up your bot just right while using that shield for cover and taking down the enemy... it's a very fun feeling.
My friends have been playing for a bit. I finally got the game but I really felt overwhelmed by all the hero’s and objectives. It just seemed like a big mess and I was just dying all the time. It looks cool but I’ve never been much of a gamer so I’m struggling hard. Any tips on heroes and general game sense? Sorry guys big noob here
In general? Play like you have never heard the word meta in your life, you'll find the stupidest and most fun combinations of weapons that way. For more like actual gameplay tips uh, don't trust audio that hasn't been working all season, but overall find a legend you're good at or understand well, every legend can be competitive it's just the difference of effectiveness. Also do not change legends a lot early on, there are a bunch of legends that have the same height but there are legends that are taller and that will fuck with your aim if you go from pathfinder to bloodhound.
Most people are fine. There's the edgy salt Lords mumbling "you all fucking suck" as they leave lobby, but they're usually the reason the team wiped. Play games to be happy, not to abuse others.
I hadn't played apex in a really long time and also had swapped from ps4 to pc - went to duos and realised I had forgotten all the controls as my muscle memory is more for controller play rather than keyboard. My duo partner noticed and started typing instructions in chat and trying to reteach me the game lmao. We ended up dying and I was surprised the duo actually stayed with me for another game that we Actually made it to second place in with about 6 kills each! If you're out there random pathfinder, thanks for your patience and for making me laugh at my own ineptitude
I think Lifeline and Wraith actually make a really successful team in duos. Assuming my teammate doesnt rush strictly for kills and then dies, and dc's.
Was playing with a Japanese guy I attempted to speak it a bit he heard my pronunciation and knew I didn’t speak it fluently and he asked me where I was from and he started speaking fluent Korean was in a bit of shock
You guys ever had it where your buddy wants you to join a game so you run off without your team to fight and die on purpose but you ended up destroying every fight you got into? Yeah that happened to me yesterday ended up with 12 kills and 2400 dmg
I also suck with Lifeline. This is why I often ‘save’ my teammates as Octane instead. Give them the run around, grab the respawn cards and jump like two respawn terminals away in 15 seconds or less. Card recovery Respawn runs are literally some of my best moments of positioning with Octane idk how I do it sometimes.
The only downfall is even as a god of speed I’m still like half a day late to team fights lmao

I'm pretty bad. I main mirage and that's just because he's funny.

It’s be a waste to not give it to lifeline unless you’re a good rezzer like gibby wraith and Bangalore or have a second one
At least she is honest

I litterally say im a noob every game so they don't insult me when they watch me playing
You are a smart noob
I love playing Lifeline I just wish I was better with her. First character I broke 200 kills with. (Yes I know that's not a lot I'm just shit)
If you're having fun than that's good! If your trying your best that's also good! I help my team out as much as I can
I’ve seen this “Pick lifeline I always die” guy before here on this sub itself.
That moment when you get a lifeline that sticks to you and your number one mission is “GET OFF MY LIFELINE!! She will be Protected” but sometimes there are those that don’t know how to play lifeline
Last one down and boom boom

my bangalore jumped 80 feet into the enemy team when we were top 2 with the high ground, died, and left
Some people are just selfless.
This is bound to get removed so i suggest posting this on r/apexoutlands
I don't think so, it's just a wholesome post

I don't understand why people get so mad about it sometimes. Queue time is a few seconds, dude, just go next. No need to waste time flaming.
But like you said, usually they are the reason their team wiped anyway so...
If I'm not playing Crypto I literally fail to function as a player
If I’m playing anyone other than path, crypto, or horizon I’m pretty useless. That’s why I only do challenges solo.
Atleast this wraith main knows she sucks and needs help
ok rampart main

Perfect name bro
Might not be a good lifeline but he put in the effort so it's lifefine

It always breaks my heart when people applogize in the chat for how they play. Don't feel bad, you are all awesome!
