I used to live in a really high-crime neighborhood and one night a friend came by and left his accordion in the car out in front of my house. Later that night we heard breaking glass and went outside and sure enough someone had smashed the window and put four more accordions in his car.
I can't even tell if this is a joke because that is the level of weird crime that sometimes happens around me (drunk people thinking they are funny).

Same here . Took up the accordion last year . Any time I play Daisy comes running to me and starts howling . I haven’t figured out if she is singing along or complaining . 100% sure the noise the wife is making is complaining .
My wife saw that I had been looking at accordions and threatened to leave. She allows me my drum set I guess.
I'm not usually a fan of accordions or dogs howling. But I actually listened to this on loop for several minutes. Something about it is kinda festive and nice.

We had it checked and it's just a big fatty lump! Non cancerous which is a relief!
As a note - George would occasionally howl/squeak when my dad was learning and practicing. George has "sung" before but only the odd squeak and would tail off quite quick! This was his best performance! My wording was slightly off in the title

The first time my 10 year old pug ever howled was when watching The Office and Meredith screaming when Dwight placed a bag over her head with a bat inside it.
Accordions, harmonicas, and sometimes the fiddle. One of my dogs joined a group on stage and sang with a girl while another feller played the fiddle after that he would song at every occasion
that's not a performance that's a peaceful protest.
My husky, Bandit, who died about seven years ago, used to howl at trains and the harmonica for HOURS on end. He was, and still is, my favorite dog.

I didn't think my dog howled either for the longest time until one time me and my family were going somewhere and I forgot something in the house. I run back to the house and hearing this howling...this sad howling!! I was crushed to hear her crying/howling when we leave!! I felt so bad!! Now she's an old girl and I think is cool with us leaving as she just goes and takes a nap! Her howling was not nearly as joyful as this!!

When I was a kid my aunt brought a dog to my dad to watch and eventually we ended up keeping her. Anyways... years after we got a wolf pup who ended up teaching her how to howl after it grew a "bit". It was a legit deep howl though and kinda surprised everyone because she had never done it before. I remember sitting on our back porch and getting them going by howling myself. This is great though. Lol like saying "I can do it better".

This reminds me of the first time my dog Baxter howled! We were driving home with the window open so he could stick his head out when an ambulance started driving towards us. I pulled over to allow them to pass and as the siren grew louder he let out the slowest, most old man howl I’d ever heard. He had never howled before that and it was such a surprise when it came out. Tell George to keep singing and thanks for the memory of my old man!
My dog does the same thing. I have no idea why. He only howls when he hears an accordion. Occasionally a piano when its played loudly, but that only happened once

My mom played accordion when she was young, she played at village bals, weddings and such to earn some pocket money. Got married, a kid then 2 dogs. She still liked to play outside in summer. Both dogs would always follow her outside and howl their heart out the whole time she played. They could not help it. We thought it was hurting their ears at first but they easily could have gone elsewhere. I think they just enjoyed this.

My childhood dog used to howl upstairs while I played the tuba. It annoyed the shit outta my parents, and soon the dog was always sent into the basement while I practiced so she could howl with me.
I do not understand the 'last summer' - 'Christmas' part... but George is a real Christmas angel :))
The pet owner's father took up the accordion last summer, and by Christmas was able to give this performance.

Does your dog have a large lump on the neck? Has a vet checked it out? My guy has a few now, getting them checked at his next appt.
Yeah he does dude. We got it checked and it's just a fatty lump, was worried it was cancer but it's not! He's getting old and he's a big boy so they said it was normal. He's got a check up due soon so they'll confirm again. Hope everything goes well with your boy!
