what a good dog
He’s being so polite and calm and chill!
She's looking to her owner for confirmation. Mom, mom?...is this ok? Is this ok this wierd dog is licking my face? No threat?..hmm. ok.
Puppy, looks back, wags tail, and smiles: "It smells like ass!"
Your puppy is adorable! They are such glorious dogs. I looked into possibly getting one recently but there's no way my heart can handle that short life expectancy. May your pupper live long and prosper!
Had one growing up, got cancer and passed at 6 or 8 years if I remember correctly. Great dog, was a complete derp who didn’t realize he weighed 100 + pounds. Now I have cattle dogs and apparently they like to live forever.
I love Bernese mtn dogs, I just wish they lived longer.
I just googled and saw their short life span...jeebus...6-8 years??? What gives?
Where are you camping that has baby donkeys? I want to go to there!
It was a campground on a river in central TX. It's on a great stretch of river but its pretty....uh....rustic? There were quite a few herds of cows and donkeys roaming around, which was sort of charming but also sort of not b/c you were surrounded with enormous piles of their crap. Fig (the puppy) sat and stared at the donkeys in the distance until finally this little dude came over to say hello.
Definitely an ass man
I love that look at the end
"Hey, look! I made a friend!"
This is so precious.
r/unlikelyfriends will love this too OP
Puppy looks 5 seconds away from a play bow and zoomies
Can confirm. That's roughly how it went.
That's a puppy? How big can they get?
Hahah....yep. She was about 6 months old in this video. Just turned 14 months, and is about 90lbs. Females tend to be 80-100 and males 90-120.
He fren? He fren!!
Everyone likes a little ass..
This is cute but if it was an adult donkey the puppy would be in trouble. Donkeys hate canines with a passion, that’s why donkeys are put with livestock to act as guards from coyotes.
They're also smart enough to be able to tell the difference between an aggressive coyote looking for a meal and a well feed house dog that's being completely submissive.
he turns as if to say "look what I found"
"Can I keep it?"
You have to beware... adolescent donkeys and adults will try to stomp on dogs.
This reminds me how much I want a Bernese mountain dog..
Me too, can’t wait until I’m financially stable enough to afford the insane amount of food I’d need to get! My cousins had the sweetest BMD but she passed from cancer at 8 :( best dogs, leave the world way too soon
Cute! Makes me sad though, someone in my local community just had their Berenese dog-napped out of her yard and the owner seems absolutely distraught about it.
how was camping with the dogs? did you keep them on leash? our guys are hooligans so we couldn't leave them off for any length of time.
Honestly most of it would've been fine... but the primary problem was all the donkey and cow crap that was \*everywhere\*. Fig was extremely enthusiastic about it, and literally the first thing she did upon getting out of the car was to sink both front paws deep into a massive piece of it. We ended up leaving late-afternoon and left the camping part to our friends....
Dang, I love animals.
That’s a nice ass
Isn't that breed called Bernese?
Correct. I just misspelled it.
I could literally look at this for hours
FYI, baby donkeys are called "burritos"
got Misty walking around back there
I guess dunky finally decided to leave his house.
Genuine question. Is this ok to do? From what I know, donkeys can be crazy aggressive to anything they think is dangerous
I have a spaniel who’s three now, and ever since he was a puppy he’s been *obsessed* with donkeys. We can’t work it out at all, he just seems to have this connection with them, and they usually let him get close to them. If he ever sees donkeys, he gets so excited.
On one of his walks there is a field with a gate where some donkeys sometimes come to the gate, and for the whole walk he will be pulling at the lead to try and get to that gate, and if the donkeys aren’t there, he will be heartbroken for the rest of the day.
I wonder if your dog will have the same obsession!
But who doesn’t love Burritos

It hurts me how cute this is
Why was someone taking a donkey camping
Dog: Idk wtf you are but I like you.
Funny story, they both grow up to be horses.
Can baby donkeys be called “bonkeys” please?
I’ve been around donkeys before. They’re generally very timid and sweet animals. Also they’re sensitive and intelligent and very reliable in the old country way of life!
Anyone wanting your dog to befriend a donkey, please know that an adult donkey will absolutely stomp the life out of your pet. This is a baby donkey with a large dog.
🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑 in the back
"Man this dog is UGLY."
"And, smells like ass?"
Look at that tail wagging, so cute!!
Well behaved dog ❤️❤️
I can tell it's a puppy because it's smaller than a donkey
I want to be friends with a baby donkey
\*Dog looks back\* "Friend? She'd my friend now?"
When the ass sniffs you back.
Aww! She’s trying to be such a good girl and behave when she just wants to jump and play. So cute.
It reminded me of the movie "A purpose dog", when Baileys doesn't know what a donkey is, so he calls him the dog-horse.
Things that make you go AWW! Like puppies, bunnies, babies, and so on...
A place for really cute pictures and videos!
