Please make a good effort to socialize him. It's rough having young animals only exposed to people at home during this pandemic, then it's going to be a nightmare later on when things normalize. Also, leave him alone for increasingly longer times so there's limited separation anxiety
We took our boy to puppy pre school. Didn’t think it would do much, but the socialising with the other dogs at such a young age was brilliant. Made him so good with other dogs and people.
The wait is unreal. Our little boy is home in 3wks. He has copious amounts of chew toys, a bed, food setup and his first vet appt ready to go. I accidently keep ordering things for him while I wait. Oops Edit: ps- I can't get over the nose!!

I agree regarding irresponsible breeding. No reason to go to a backyard breeder for a pit when thousands die every day. This is a cute dog, but you can find pit bull puppies at nearly any rescue (I get that it's competitive now because of covid). I say this as the owner of two rescue pits and foster to many others. I'm not against the breed, but there is no reason to purposely bring more pits into the world right now.

I get it, pits are some of the most understood dogs. I realize they’re packed in rescues and available for fosters. But the opportunity to get a pup and be able to give it an amazing life for all of their life was too good to pass up
