Thank you! That’s very kind of you to say. She’s a good girl who just needed a bit more love and attention. She’s learning new tricks for an old girl too! She can heel, high five, and find treats in the house that I didn’t even know I had...but I’m not surprised by that last one. Haha
She really is astoundingly warm to hug. She loves nothing more than a cold floor to cool down haha. She’s only just started to cuddle in a bit now and then, if she’s looking for a bit of love she’ll lay on your feet and snore like a tug boat!
She really is adorable. She’s my first dog and I’m very lucky. My wife and I adopted her a couple of months ago through a charity, she’s 8 years old and her name is Keisha. She loves cold floors, howling along to sirens, and she likes to hold your hand when you give her belly scratches!
The war against ginger bear fluff has been tough, and suffered many casualties; Kirby the Auto-hoover gave his life that we might live another day...to give scritches.
Sometimes if she’s really, REALLY happy...she’ll spin in a circle, throw herself down, lie on her back and expect you to rub her belly. She will then hold your hand while you give the rubs. Fun fact: she also loves to howl along to passing ambulances, and her favourite treats are cow tongue, cheese and poppadoms.
She’s a freight train that enjoys ballet, she also sings along to ambulance sirens! She’s opening up now she’s been here a few months, she’s an old girl feeling young again. :)
It’s a bit of both! :) when we rescued her she was about 20lbs+ overweight, she’s lost a little since then which is great. She is also INCREDIBLY fluffy. A chonky fluff bear.
Omg she's too cute!!
You should consider getting a big rug for her to zoom on without slipping on hard floors. Our pup loves to do his zoomies on our giant living room rug
We have a big rug in the sitting room just for that very reason :) Her zoomies are slowly and surely coming to the surface, it’s lovely to see. Fun fact: She likes to howl along to sirens, and she will hold your hand if you pet her belly.
Thank you! She really is lovely. She has such a personality and is expressive enough to where it’s not too difficult to work out what she’s woo-ing about. My wife wanted a rescue, and we in the right place and right time to come across this little chonker through a rescue charity. Saints sled dogs. They do great work. X
I knew of zoomies but had never seen them in person until we got my first pup, as you can see she can zoom like a freighter. Out the way, civilians, my Keisha gonna zooom!!! We also give her some joint supplements and they seem to be making things easier for her, still early days on the weight loss. She’ll get there xx
It’s one of those things I try not to think about. I know some of the situation keisha was in, and it wasn’t abusive luckily...but it was neglectful. Which has lead to her being extremely overweight, but we’re slowly chipping away at that.
Well done for rescuing! There are so many big floof balls out there who need a home. I’m glad you could be one of them xx
Thank you! She’s a heckin chonkin good girl! Fun fact: she likes the taste of her own ear wax so much you can give it to her as a treat! We don’t though, usually we just give her a biscuit. She also loves poppadoms!
Thank you, I’ll let her know. She accepts cuddles but has only just started to seek out love attention when she wants it. Still early days in her new home, building confidence and love everyday. Can I give her a scratch in your honour? Ear,chin or belly? X
It’s official. You’re friends now. Pick up your hat and badge at reception. If you had a choice, would you like me to give her a belly, ear or chin scratch in your honour? X
She’s a big girl. She might not be edible, but I can guarantee she’s very sweet. Fun fact: she has a stuffed toy called froggy, and is extremely gentle with him. She doesn’t attack him, she just holds and licks him. Best friends forever! X
My wife is from the states, she says she loves me for me...but I think it’s the accent. Before we were dating we would have party chats online and she’d ask me to say things just so she could hear me say them. The word “Lorry” seemed to be her favourite.
Came here for the dog, stayed for the accent. I approve of your choice! Xx
I love seeing rescues come out of their shell, my first rescue took a long time, but my second just balled into his new life of love and forever home!
She looks so happy, well done for giving this girl the love she deserves
I really appreciate you saying that! That’s really kind. She’s now started to come upstairs more and has taken pride of place on the sofa. She wasn’t allowed to do either at her old place I’ve been told, she’s starting to learn exactly what comfort means!! Lovely to hear you have rescued too!! You’re awesome xx
I’m extremely lucky to have a first pup like her. She’s really helped get me through lockdown too! She’s extremely vocal and has started showing her affectionate side. She needed a loving home, my wife and I were able to give her that. A long road ahead, but an exciting one.
Mals seem to live for greetings. Our last one's favorite night was halloween which he felt should have been named meet Tonka night because he stayed by the door greeting everyone.
Just an aside, get the weight off of her if you can because it's really hard on their hips long term. They don't need nearly as much food as the average retriever despite the size.
She LOVES to meet new people. Especially children. And it’s obvious when you watch her that she knows their children and will change to a more playful, sillier, gentle mode. She’s a treat to have in our home.
The weight loss is slow but going well. Previous owners just left dry food down all day so she gorged on it. She has new set eating routines and is on a raw diet, which she loves. We give her supplements for her joints and has started to show improvement. :) she’s gonna be the fittest old girl around if I have anything to say about it!
I try to record a video of her once a day to send to my wife while she’s at work. This was todays, she had just met the electrician and we were socially distancing in the kitchen. She couldn’t contain her excitement!! X
I know it’s not the same but I’d be honoured to give her a hug for you. Would you like me to give her some head scritches too? She LOVES head scritches. Xx
She’s sweet and lovely, and I’m super lucky to have her in our home. Would you like me to give her a head scratch in your honour? She loves head scratches! X
She seems really happy being in our home, she spent a month with a fosterer after being given to the rescue charity, so it was a stressful few months with her. 3 months in and she’s on a good diet, a good routine and she gets a lot of love. She’s even started looking for affection, and will lay on my feet in the evenings. Xx
This is totally 150% how my half husky mix rescue acts when he's just met someone new or about to. The grunts, the pouncing, the circles, everything. It was like watching a 100x fluffier version of my boy lmfao. Love you pup thanks for sharing
No, thank YOU for being lovely and kind enough to comment. My wife was the one who introduced me to large breed dogs, I’m a malamute convert for sure! You have a great day! Give your boy a chin scratch for me 👍🏻xx
I want to play with her ears! She's absolutely adorable. I'm happy to read she's losing a bit of weight with you. She'll be doing major zoomied when she opens up more. Her hair though haha, you must vacuum daily!
You know, I watch a lot of these videos where absused or abandoned dogs are saved and I’m always so thankful that after vet time it always skips straight into their reformed and happy selves adopted or fostered. But what we don’t see is the long road that some dogs take to get to such a trusting place. I really admire people who put in all that time and effort to give these doggos a happier time in such a scary world. It must be some hard work.
It can be very hard at times, but she’s doing so well. We’re pretty sure her old home weren’t abusive, just neglectful, and it put her into some bad practises. She came with a bunch of belongings, leads and such, and there was a book with her name on full of photos of her since she was a pup. So they had here a long time, and their was a lot of love their once, but sometimes our lives change and we don’t even notice, and sadly keisha suffered a little because of that. She hates and can be aggressive to other dogs, she guarded food like she was worried she’d never be fed again...her previous owners just put dry food down and she grazed all day every day, making her super unhealthy.
I’m glad my wife and I have the opportunity to be her friend and get her back on the right path. Almost 3 months into her new life and as you can see, she’s loving it! Once more of the pounds fly off she’ll be even happier :)
That’s a lot of cute words out together and I LOVE THAT! She’s gonna get a belly rub just for your selection of lovely words. And she appreciates that so much! Thank you! X
I love animals so much, and good owners who love their pets deserve proper credit too. Love seeing pets happy like this because you know they’re being taken care of so well
Well, I do my very best! :) she’s loved, she’s on a better eating plan now, she gets a walk every day, living the good life! Although she’d debate the severe lack of treats she gets. Don’t let her fool you! She gets enough treats! X
That’s so sweet to say, I’m going to pass that on to her personally. Would you like me to throw in a chin scratch or two? She loves a chin scratch :) xx
We got real lucky finding her. Everything just feel into place at the right time, and as soon as I saw her ginger locks I had to have her!! She’s on her way to a healthier lifestyle, and no matter how many years she has left...they’re gonna be full of love. X
Oh she’s just the floofiest! Although my auto-hoover, Kirby, is currently recovering from PTSD after having suck up all that hair every day. But she’s worth every little love hair I find! I’ll give her a load of ear scritches for you x
She looks pretty happy to be your very good girl! Good job helping her to relax and start becoming Family.
Thank you! That’s very kind of you to say. She’s a good girl who just needed a bit more love and attention. She’s learning new tricks for an old girl too! She can heel, high five, and find treats in the house that I didn’t even know I had...but I’m not surprised by that last one. Haha
And just like that, you will never again be cold at night.
She really is astoundingly warm to hug. She loves nothing more than a cold floor to cool down haha. She’s only just started to cuddle in a bit now and then, if she’s looking for a bit of love she’ll lay on your feet and snore like a tug boat!
Oh my... she is irresistible cute
She really is adorable. She’s my first dog and I’m very lucky. My wife and I adopted her a couple of months ago through a charity, she’s 8 years old and her name is Keisha. She loves cold floors, howling along to sirens, and she likes to hold your hand when you give her belly scratches!
Such a beautiful floof! I hope you bought a furminator brush, I feel like you’ll be needing it it soon!
The war against ginger bear fluff has been tough, and suffered many casualties; Kirby the Auto-hoover gave his life that we might live another day...to give scritches.
How cool to be so happy you literally spin around!
Omg that cute chunker!! What a lovely happy dance!
She’s a freight train that enjoys ballet, she also sings along to ambulance sirens! She’s opening up now she’s been here a few months, she’s an old girl feeling young again. :)
Either she is incredibly fluffy or an ultimate chonker. Either way I wouldn’t be whining

She is gorgeous! Thank you for rescuing her. I swear rescue animals are the best. All of our pets have been rescues.
Thank you! She really is lovely. She has such a personality and is expressive enough to where it’s not too difficult to work out what she’s woo-ing about. My wife wanted a rescue, and we in the right place and right time to come across this little chonker through a rescue charity. Saints sled dogs. They do great work. X
She's gorgeous! We rescued an old overweight lab mix last year and as he loses weight his zoomies are coming back as well. It's so adorable to watch.
Forbidden marshmallow fluff
Forbidden to eat, but not forbidden to love ❤️
We rescued a 10yr old Malamute in August last year. She’s the sweetest thing and we have no idea why someone would have given her up.
Zoom zoom zoomies
She’s the first zoomies I’ve seen in person. It’s amazing xx
I could listen to you two talk all day
Same. I came here to comment that his voice and her responses to him lit up my brain and gave me a serotonin boost. lol
Putting the “husky” in husky.
Damn straight! X
Omggg adorable!! Her little chonky zooms 😆
Thank you! She’s a heckin chonkin good girl! Fun fact: she likes the taste of her own ear wax so much you can give it to her as a treat! We don’t though, usually we just give her a biscuit. She also loves poppadoms!
Oh my I LOVE old dog zoomies. They are the best.
She’s the first zoomies I’ve seen in person and it was very lovely. Fun fact: Keisha holds your hand when you give her belly rubs. X
She's adorable ❤️ I want to hug her 🥺🥺
Thank you, I’ll let her know. She accepts cuddles but has only just started to seek out love attention when she wants it. Still early days in her new home, building confidence and love everyday. Can I give her a scratch in your honour? Ear,chin or belly? X
I... I wanna be her friend... 🥺...
It’s official. You’re friends now. Pick up your hat and badge at reception. If you had a choice, would you like me to give her a belly, ear or chin scratch in your honour? X
What a happy giant marshmallow
She’s a big girl. She might not be edible, but I can guarantee she’s very sweet. Fun fact: she has a stuffed toy called froggy, and is extremely gentle with him. She doesn’t attack him, she just holds and licks him. Best friends forever! X
Big girl, her coat is making her warm, otherwise she’d probably be zooming everywhere.
Absolutely! Her coat is so thick and lovely, but she’s a floof oven 24/7. She loves nothing more than laying on the cold tile.
I just replayed it to hear the hot British accent.
My wife is from the states, she says she loves me for me...but I think it’s the accent. Before we were dating we would have party chats online and she’d ask me to say things just so she could hear me say them. The word “Lorry” seemed to be her favourite.

She is just beautiful and a lovely friendly personality. Lucky you.

Thank you!! That’s very kind. I’ll pass that on to her, would you like me to give her an ear, chin or belly scratch in your honour? Xx
My husky also does these bounces when she gets excited and she is all about rugs.
I luv her
She luv you! X
She is so so beautiful!!! 🥲 wish I could hug her
I know it’s not the same but I’d be honoured to give her a hug for you. Would you like me to give her some head scritches too? She LOVES head scritches. Xx
Beautiful and adorable ❤️
pretty baby
Thank you. She’s looking for friends if you wanna apply? X
What a sweetheart. I just want to snuggle her~
She’s sweet and lovely, and I’m super lucky to have her in our home. Would you like me to give her a head scratch in your honour? She loves head scratches! X
Malis!!!
Oh my goodness what a big sweet puppy I want to hug!
I can make that happen...I have an in. You want me to give her a head, chin or belly scratch? X
Gorgeous dog!
Wow! I hope she has had a fantastic time after her rescue!
She seems really happy being in our home, she spent a month with a fosterer after being given to the rescue charity, so it was a stressful few months with her. 3 months in and she’s on a good diet, a good routine and she gets a lot of love. Bit of a chonker.

Is she a chonker or just super fluffy?
OMG! Such Floof! And happy Spins! You have an exceptionally GOOD GIRL there !!
Who would put a gorgeous dog like that in a shelter, did the owner die or something?
I want to play with her ears! She's absolutely adorable. I'm happy to read she's losing a bit of weight with you. She'll be doing major zoomied when she opens up more. Her hair though haha, you must vacuum daily!

She's so happy! Makes me sad that she's overweight though
Me too, but I am so happy that she's getting a second chance at life because OP will take great care of her. She's the cutest floof ball ever.
ITS SO FLUFFY! I WANT TO MEET YOUR FLUFF!
Big happy health floof boye
Big happy!!! Much funs!!! Dude, she’s sooooo fluffy. She’s my first dog and I really hit the jackpot. I’m a lucky boy. Xx
I hope she likes brushing, because she’s gonna need a lot of it.
She so squishy!!
Like a marshmallow, and just as sweet! You wanna be her friend? I can ask her if you like. X
She is so fluffy I just want to huge her my dog does not have fluffy fur so I rarely get to dare a dog with lots of fluff
Aww what a happy healthy soul <3
What a round pretty girl!
What a happy chonk! ❤️
A SUPER happy chonk. She’s a good girl, very proud of her. Have a nice day!! X
Big chonk floof
A proper floof! X
Rescued a pooch in September and after many months he’s acting like this! It’s amazing because when they start trusting you, you’ll know!
Aww
