I don't get it. Do otters do that face rub thing that the dog is doing or something?
So cute! My pup was doing the same thing and recently she was found to have environmental allergies causing itchy eyes. I'm not saying that's your pupper has but it is something that you can look into if he continues to rub his eyes. Edit: never thought I'd be the bearer of the bad news on an r/aww but I pray for everyone's pups. Always hated those who turned r/aww post to raww.
Was looking for this comment. My dog does this same thing a lot... Back when she was a puppy she would itch bald circles around her eyes. We gave her OTC Claritin daily for a few years which helped a ton... now she's off the meds and although she still itches frequently, it's not so bad she's itching all her hair off.

Just an FYI. That motion in doggos is generally attributed to allergies. Yes it is cute but you may want to monitor the pup. Anything change in diet or environment recently? I know this because my dog has a ridicuy amount of allergies and I thought she was being cute for a while until she had some bad reactions.
Yeah recently my little girl got an allergic reaction from something in the grass, her eyes became huge. The vet told me that i arrived just in time, a few hours more and she would have died...
In welsh otters are called dyfrgi, which literally means water dog. I think its something similar in irish as well

This is really cute, however I just want to point ou that my dog also used to do that, and it's usually because their eyes itch, something like allergies or ever some dust in their eyes, so really cute, but if your dog is doing something unusual there is usually a reason for it, you should check her out.
