Ah, the rare cat squirrel. Excellent choice.
It could be an even rarer squirrel cat. They are difficult to tell apart. One is a cat with the tail of a squirrel. The other is a squirrel with the body of a cat.

i have a black polydactyl named Spot (she has one white dot on her chest) who is exactly like this! total shoulder kitty and a big lover! she will actually try to jump onto your shoulder, which can make for a very painful kind of love, depending on the clothing you’re wearing haha

I have 4 Somali cats, 3 boys aged 8 (Mew), 10(Zorro), 14(Jens) and a female aged 15 (We call here Korn because she looks like an Ekorn witch is norwegian for squirrel. Sheis very smol and cute and my little princess :) She is also the mother of the 14 year old and the 8 year old (the 10 year old is the 8 year olds father) On Sundays they sleep in my bed with me as i change sheets every monday and thats maximum snuggle time :p

These are the first pets I have ever gotten that aren’t rescues. My last kitten I adopted had viral myocarditis and died. My one before that was born with a congenital brain tumour so I lost her after two years. My rescue dog died in a car crash with my partner. I just needed a break from heartbreak. Please don’t judge me.
