Man how Yugioh has changed from the beginning. Back when this was just starting the worst thing you had to worry about was Lord of D. and flute of summoning dragon summoning two of these bad boys. Now you have all sorts of ways of playing like 15 monsters in one turn that can OTK you lol.

*I summon my Magical Scientist and special summon a bunch of monsters from my Fusion Deck and launch them with my Catapult Turtle at my opponent, thereby causing their life points to become 0.*
I like how it says it's virtually invincible but has a defense of 2500...
Let’s be honest who uses Blue Eyes in defence mode lol
All mighty protector of the sun and sky I beg of thee please heed my cry transform thyself from orb of light and bring me victory in this fight Winged Dragon Of Ra
I enjoy a good game of Yugimon the Gathering
Nice, there's actually a 3rd art variant of Blue Eyes out there that isn't from a starter deck I think.
I'll have to see if I can dig up my old light dragon deck from high school to see what I had.
Edit: I think it's just a different holographic pattern on the starter deck artwork.
There are currently 6 different variants of Blue Eyes. These 3, another deck one, a Shonen Jump promo, and the Anniversary Pack one
Wait, I had the left two, but I’ve never seen the right one.
Right one is from a magazine :)
Wish I had the time and money to get back into the scene, but even if I did, I don't know if I could handle re-learning the game with the new summoning types (Xyz, link, pendulum, etc.).
I stopped playing once Cyber Dragon OHKO decks became meta, and after I witnessed the creation of the ban lists to curb the impact of Chaos Emperor Dragon > Yata-lock.
I stopped playing in tournaments when pendulums and links were a thing. I don’t understand the new game at all. But lucky for me my buddies and a local card shop playing with the older format (with XYZ and Synchro)
My mum sold my entire collection at a garage sale for a buck fifty
When you see that on the field, makes you glad you got that mirror force facedown. Pray for no trap jammer!!
Since this is r/gaming, who else used to play the shit out of Yu Gi Oh: Forbidden Memories
Dark magic attack
you know im orphan told ima better duelist than you kiaba
I used to be a big fan but I never knew there were multiple arts for the card.
I’ve got the right one but it doesn’t have the rainbow colors in it. I think I traded a beyblade for it. Or maybe it was for a harpies pet dragon…middle school was a long time ago, I can’t remember!
I've always wanted to play YuGiOh but I can't afford the cards
There’s a pretty cool video game you can get called YuGiOh legacy of the duelist link evolution. You can get it on any platform
Year's ago I was, I had Yu-Gi-Oh before I went into MtG. I remember when I first started collecting cards in the early 2000's, and then high school played a lot. I ran zombies my personal favorite for their board swamping. Not unlike a token deck of course. Good times.
I just wish cards didn't have paragraph long effects. Why can't we go back to just "Flip: Destroy target monster"
There are a few old cards with excessive amounts of text, such as the long banned [Last Turn](https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Last_Turn). Though that was before they introduced the so-called problem-solving card text, which made a lot of things more consistent. I think a lot of the text comes from various restrictions on how/when effects can be used, after having learned from mistakes from old card design.
Still, I do agree that the effects can be complicated, especially when you're using many of them per turn and you have to figure out the order you want to use the cards.
Did you just summon a bunch of monsters in one turn? Isn't that against the rules?
Screw the rules! I have money!
o/ I love the second one , for me that is the classic
In the show whenever they used the card to merge monsters together, I always wanted to see the Blue Eyes White Dragon to merge with the Red Eyes Black Dragon to make the Purple Eyes Grey Dragon.
why is that $150 card not in a case
It came out of a case for the picture then immediately went right back in one.
Has anyone ever summoned a Ultimate Blue Eyes Toon Dragon before? I know there's no actual card for it, but using technicalities, I have summoned it using 3 BETDs to clutch a final stand clutch.
My lifepoints: 220
My friend's: 4150
"Il'L tAkE yOuR eNtIrE sToCk."
My biggest flex is that in my deck I had all Exodia pieces
What about gogiga gagagigo
I’d love to start collecting these cards again but I have no idea where to start.
I wanted to get into it, but I came way too late to the scene, with cards that have writing so small to fit the whole novel they have to all the decks being "I have won in the very first turn because I spent twenty minutes going through my entire deck to insta-kill you" I just gave up.
Nah sorry man. Yugioh fans went extinct. You’re the only one left
