Especially when the press any button is on the bottom right of the screen and because of the resolution it’s soooo tiny that you can’t even see it.

I had the kinda same experience. When I played FF1 for NES and saved the Princess at the beginning of the game, I thought there was gonna come some sort of dialogue after the music stopped.
