The masks are a blessing in disguise when you try to avoid those annoying people who have to come up and talk your ear off for 30 minutes. I may continue to wear them after the pandemic is over
It's made life simpler. If you're not willing to wear a mask, then you're not allowed near my family. Sometimes you get lucky, and an insufferable person is now an anti masker that was once a large part of your social life. It's nice to dump that dead weight sometimes.
It kind of makes you look older as well. I always had to show ID when buying alcohol, even though I am 22 and in my country you are allowed to have alcohol with 16, but since masks are mandated, that never even happened once.
Edit: *but instead of nut obviously
I’ve been wearing a mask 10 years. Long flights where I fall asleep and didn’t want my mouth wide open. Plus I work in Asia sometimes and it’s pretty normal there.
I actually am more self conscious with a mask on because a lot of the ways I communicate with people is through facial expressions. I feel awkward when I'm having a conversation knowing a person can't see most of my face.
A POLITICIAN visited a village and asked what their needs were.
"We have two basic needs sir," replied the villager. "Firstly, we have a hospital, but there's no doctor."
On hearing this, the politician whipped out his cellphone, and after speaking for a while he reassured the village leader that the doctor would be there the next day.
He then asked about the second problem.
"Secondly sir, there is no cellphone coverage anywhere in this village."
Even if they were useless for COVID, the rates of influenza and several other seasonal airborne diseases are down DRASTICALLY this year and experts' best opinions concur it because of masks and other precautions.
I still put that shit, so I just squint my eyes and they think I am smiling, I AM NOT dumbass ! what do you mean what am I doing here in a market, what do people do in a market ?
What do you mean loved, from my point of view there still is a quarantine and while i agree with this meme it still sucks cause my parents aren't letting me go to 7/11 to fuel my crippling redbull addiction.
I got braces during the pandemic. Best decision and timing. People don’t even realize I’m wearing braces and when this is all over I have nice looking teeth.
Memes!
A way of describing cultural information being shared.
An element of a culture or system of behavior that may be considered to be passed from one individual to another by nongenetic means, especially imitation.
True, I'm surprised by the amount of women who smile at me now, before covid they used to avoid eye contact
How do you know their smiling with their mask on?
Girls say Im more attractive with the mask on

Nah it’s the norm in Japan and Korea to wear a masks when one is sick done way before Covid so has a very high chance of sticking around.
Me as a hostess not having to smile at rude customers
They doesn't
I’m sorry, English isn’t my first language:(
I wear a mask partly cuz my face has so much acne so a pandemic is the perfect excuse
If you dont wash your mask frequently, its probably making your acne worse, coming from a fellow pimple face
Ikr? I am gonna make it a part of my style from now on.
I don't have to shave for work anymore
The eyes chico they never lie.

It feels weird not to wear a mask in public now, even when watching TV shows or movies I'm asking myself why they aren't wearing masks.
I don't understand how masks wouldn't work.
I’m just gonna pretend quarantine is needed for the rest of my life
It kind of makes you look older as well. I always had to show ID when buying alcohol, even though I am 22 and in my country you are allowed to have alcohol with 16, but since masks are mandated, that never even happened once. Edit: *but instead of nut obviously

I wear hat for a similar reason
Doesn’t is the new dont
I hate my face, especially the lower half, so it helps my self esteem out in public I feel a little more confident walking around
I just ordered a gas mask because if I'm gonna comply might as well have fun doing it
In winter it can also trap heat against your face
Their eyes

Every now and again I get a few annoying spots of acne on my chin and it makes me glad I have to wear a mask.
I personally consider it a win.

And they keep your face warm when you go outside. And yes they hide my ugly ass face.
Me who wears a mask to keep my face warm:
It's winter where I live rn and wearing a mask helps keep my face warm so I'm all for em haha
Me, who wears it as an alternative to a scarf:
They does or they doesn’t
Sorry, English isn’t my first language :(

"No they doesn't"? I'm sorry what?
Even if they were useless for COVID, the rates of influenza and several other seasonal airborne diseases are down DRASTICALLY this year and experts' best opinions concur it because of masks and other precautions.
Well, I got to hide my nervous expression while talking. So, yeah work pretty good for me!
Was just tellin my roommate that I must be ugly. I works out everyday, and doubled with the mask, I'm getting way more looks now...lol.
This is the way
Im not an extrovert but i hate quarantine I never felt this lonely in my life
Thanks for making me use my free award
See the thing is, I'm actually not ugly. But I fucking hate how masks make my acne break out, because then that makes me ugly.
I showed my mom this meme and instead of laughing or making fun of me, she says “isn’t there supposed to be a comma after Me.”
If you showed this to your mom, that means that I’m on another level
Same lol
I can relate
I've got braces!!!
r/me_irl
Damn , that's so true , I got tears in my eyes 😭
Literally being a person with acne this is such a god send
I'm in this image and I don't like it
I might think back on 2020 in a year or two and remember it as one of the best times in my life…
same brother
Me who wears them because I find them comfortable.
I still put that shit, so I just squint my eyes and they think I am smiling, I AM NOT dumbass ! what do you mean what am I doing here in a market, what do people do in a market ?
I wear it because it is warm
Not to forget that you can be a role model as a Citizen that doesn’t leave their house without absolutely having to
engrish
Relatable.
And where I am it’s cold
That grammar is an accurate representation of the intelligence of an anti masker
I like the realism of the antimasker being a fucking idiot and spell it wrong because they have the iq of a fucking cocaine addicted goose
What do you mean loved, from my point of view there still is a quarantine and while i agree with this meme it still sucks cause my parents aren't letting me go to 7/11 to fuel my crippling redbull addiction.
I just use them bc it gives me a feeling of privacy
Holy crap, that hit home!
:0
Woah
Honestly same. Always wanted to wear a mask in public without being labeled a terrorist.
introverts go brrrrrrrrr
