Elite defense by Bertans.
Looking like DORT out there!
Why did he do that
Did you not see the clamps bertans put on him there?
This is like that twitter video courtside where Lebron airballed a three or something and the fan is like "wtf are you doing" 😂
You got that link?
controller turned off
Lonzo come get your mans
He was LeTired
That possession by Lebron looked like some vintage 1998 Ballhog Kobe footage, except much worse.
Except people wouldn't dribble to the corner for iso.
I feel like Trezz could have picked up some easy buckets in OT when everyone was tired. At least sub him in for some select offensive possessions
Yeah. Not sure why he was never put back in the game. I get he had 5 fouls... but he was getting easy buckets most of the game.
Dude lookin like a 2k player when the controller dies
The AI in 2k17 used to dribble in one place at the three point line for the whole shot clock exactly like this lmao
How much longer is Shroeder going to be out?
He should be back Friday for the Blazers
his brain stopped functioning lol
was like the third time he got clamped by the latvian lasso
Lebron GOAT talks are on hold for 1 week, please pick them back up at the scheduled time.
There is nothing in all of basketball that pisses me off more than watching LeBron throw his hands up at teammates when he clearly fucks up
That's funny, I saw 4 other players sitting still , not cutting, not setting screens, nothin. Now lebron gets blame and the TO but you really think this was just him?
This is y’all MVP?
Not my 🐐
Love how he pretends that was Caruso's fault. Clip cut off a few seconds too early.
The all time leader in turnovers who would no doubt be the all time leader in individual time of possession if that stat were tracked through league history.
> Love how he pretends that was Caruso's fault.
That's the thing that KILLS me about LeBron. Yeah. I'm not rooting for him anyway but he never takes fault for his mistakes. If he drives and misses it's always an uncalled foul. Here? The pass was great but Caruso missed it. Nothing ever seems to be his fault. It's like the kid that blames the controller.
Reminds me of the time he was letting the ball roll from an inbound pass to postpone the possession clock and it rolls out of bounds.
Edit: link to clip
As bad as that was, what the fuck are the others doing. The spacing was horrendous, lebrons getting doubled and Kuzma doesn't even try getting open right away
There's a reason most play-makers don't create plays from the corner.
I understand they were expecting Lebron to attack but none of the Lakers fucking moved at all.
Lebron looks for the best play not just his best shot.
Yeah, and all the passing lanes were cut off, with no one trying to get available until the end. This wasn't just on LeBron.
This is a regular lebron play
He did the same thing against lu dort but shot and air balled
To be fair he also does this all the time and it leads to him driving and often scoring or a pretty good look at a 3. This play specifically was dreadful tho
People really call this dude GOAT
MJ would never lose to the wizards, he only loses FOR the wizards.
[This is your GOAT?!](https://media.tenor.com/images/5014b84565bfd471847d8c6f1105180f/tenor.gif)
As it turns out, you need movement for an offense to work. Also, missing your second and third best players is no bueno.
Not mvp material
I think this Lebon guy might be a bust.
Quite literally put him self in the corner, surprised it took help defence that long to put the trap on.
AND THEN HE DIDN'T HELP KYLE KUZMA UP
The LeBody Language though
A well-timed/executed double team and zero movement from the other Lakers, yeah LeBron should've been better here but it isn't as bad on his part as some other comments are making it out to be
Lmao what a fucking idiot
every other Laker is literally standing in one spot as well... where's the cutting? where's the motion??
of course, cause nobody knows how to move without the ball. He's looking for a pass but nobody is in position or getting in position.
There's a reason you don't run your offense from the corner. It's super easy to cut off any passes. Swing the ball back to the top of the key and players can cut.
Jesus that movement. Might as well just have LeBron on court by himself
After the screen it was Bertans who switched on Lebron and Hachimura was Lebrons defender who stayed on Caruso due to switch on screen, Caruso then cut to the other corner on already stagnant play, gave opportunity to wizards to guard 2 of the lakers with 1 man at the opposite corner.
Shaqtin' a fool.
As Barkley would say
> Dribble dribble dribdribdribdribble
This was rough but watching it again, wtf were the other Lakers doing?
This is some "Andre Drummond School of Running the Offense" type bullshit.
You love to see it
He was getting a breather
This kinda a Lowlight for the game more than a Highlight
I know he won’t admit it, but he was probably tired by that point. Instead of forcing a layup or something, he was probably waiting for a good cut or another Laker that wants to actually take a shot in the clutch.
I’m just not a big Lebron fan.
Been Lebron type of play since his rookie year.
Shouldn't that have been a 5-second violation?
I dont think nba used 5 sec violation
Rui came with the perfect double team
GOAT at turnovers
Omg he’s like 1000 years old leave him alone 😭
hey that's my 2k teammate from yesterday!
Nah. Caruso touched it last, Caruso's turnover.
Sure he’s prob top 5 player of all time but he does this shit a lot. No ball movement
Jordan played all 82 and won a title in his age 33, 34, 35 seasons.
He didn't need to play at 36 with two threepeats and a 24-11 record in the Finals on his resume.
Also didn't need a 4 1/2 month break then open gym situation without fans or travel to title.
Uh, what about the retirement?
he looked gassed
Everybody else was also standing on the opposite side of the court. Hard to pass the ball if there are five defenders between you and your team.
Thats on him. hes supposed to be directing traffic.
This is LeBron this season in a nutshell
