In all honesty, that is my wifes figure. Obviously its based off of a posed photo, but that is her body. I can't even describe how lucky I am. This is the least I could do to show her how I feel about her

Looks great! What kind of metal is it? Also how did you weld the figure? was it by eye or did you use a planned out blueprint
There was a template I used, but I did have to adjust a lot of it by eye. Its based off a photo I have of my wife. Made completely out stainless steel, and hand cut and tig welded by myself. There's a little over 80 hours that have gone into it already, and probably another 30 to get it polished

*Why* is reddit so bitter about this? I’m a woman and I think it’s a beautiful gift. You can make something stylized and not super realistic without it being offensive. This is clearly something that’s lovingly made. You guys don’t seem to have an issue with giant anime boobs or being dicks to women when they post, but a guy makes a gift for his wife and the knives are out and you’re white knighting for us. Unbelievable.
