Figured I'd share the link since I looked it up myself.
That is beautiful!!! I love the colors you chose!!! Nicely done!!! My daughter bought me a drunkard's path ruler from Bloc Loc since a quilt using that block has been on my bucket list for a few years. Now I have no excuses!
I've never heard of those rulers but just looked it up and it would have been useful. I just used a single paper template from the quilt pattern for the whole thing and cut them out using a rotary cutter and it was quite simple. Much easier and less stressful than I anticipated
Wow! That's awesome! I actually found that sewing curves wasn't *too* hard for me because when I pick sewing back up during covid, I started by making scrub hats for nurses. I didn't realize that skill would be so useful. Full circles still need some work, but I can do curves! Now I just need to practice sewing straight 😂
Wow, nicely done. You even found the perfect wall to display it against!
Super nice - love the straight quilting!
Beautiful! And what a perfect background to shoot against with your color palette!!
Wow this is fabulous! Well done!
I'm inspired to try machine sewing them again. I love Drunkard's Path but had to redo every 4th piece so hand sewed. I really need to get a handle on that. You made a beautiful quilt!
This is sooo cool.
I love this pattern and your fabric choices look so good! It's encouraging to hear curves were so easy.. definitely planning on tackling them on a smaller scale this year.
This is my next challenge to tackle, I learned how to foundation paper piece this year and now it’s time for curves! I’m nervous ha thanks for the tip about starch.
Yes the starch was awesome to work with and stiffen up the fabric. Just watch a few YouTube videos about curves and you'll be good to go!
SO beautiful!! and I'm terrified of curves! Great work.
Wow!!! Incredible work, I gotta get some starch spray!
Oh, man. This is gorgeous! Fantastic job!
Beautiful! Love the colors and the design.
That is absolutely gorgeous!
I just found my next quilt. That’s absolutely gorgeous!
Thanks! Lots of pinning required but worth it :)
Great work and beautiful colour choices!! ❤️❤️
Starch to stabilize, of course!! I am so new to quilting, just watching all you amazing people create works of art is inspiring. I LOVE the colors and turns in this.
I absolutely love the pattern and colors!!!
I love it! The colors you picked are really good together. I'm scared of curves, but when I work up the courage for them, I think this will be the pattern I use.
Thanks! I get so stressed picking out colors and it's takes me so long to finally decide!
This might be my favorite quilt I’ve seen on here this year. It’s so fun and lively! Great work you should be so proud
Aw so sweet of you! Thanks so much!
this is beautiful! love the color choice and straight line quilting.
Ooh!!! I love this!
So fun! And I'm impressed. If you're at home, it seems you're a big fan of these colors. :) What's the story of the wall behind you? Your quilt and the wall have a very similar feel in the artwork.
There is an alleyway near me of garage doors that all have different artwork on them! And this one just happened to have my exact color selection. I had never been down there until I took the quilt pics and actually took pics infront of 6 different garage doors and ended up liking this one the best.
This garage door is some kind of ode to fire flies and I'm actually covering up a large white infographic about fireflies painted on the door with my quilt that didn't really go with the vibe I was trying to get haha
This looks amazing - and I love how the colors match the wall behind you.
That’s amazing! I’m ok at curves...but this is another level!
Absolutely gorgeous and the colours are stunning!
This is no easy feat! Well done!!!
Having done this quilt myself I must say I didn't find it to be *fun*, haha, but you've made a beautiful one!
Is this reverse appliqué method? Freezer paper?
Nope, not sure what that is!
Cut everything out using templates
Absolutely amazing OP.....Awesome & Gorgeous too.
Love the colors you chose as well.
Is this an HS of College graduation gift perhaps?
What's an HS?
It's just a gift for my sister. No particular reason other than ive never made a quilt for her aha
This is fantastic! Great job!
So, so smart. Modern. Go you!
