Last week, we had rolling blackouts with half a foot of snow. Despite being stuck at home, I still found a way to have teatime!
I walked outside and saw the sun-set, and thought it was absolutely stunning. So I grabbed my session, moved it outside, and got this beautiful shot.
I was drinking Cloud 9 -- a 2017 Fuding HuangPian white tea by Bitterleaf Teas. I've never had a HuangPian white tea before this (and didn't even know it existed tbh), and was absolutely enamored with how it turned out.
I hope all of you here in /r/tea are staying safe, and above all, drinking some amazing tea <3
I never had HuangPian white 🍵where did you find it?looks amazing
This is absolutely beautiful. Stay warm out there!
Thank you!! It’s finally starting to warm up thankfully. Stay safe out there :)
Wow, that looks amazing!
Thank you!!! There's beauty in this world if you look for it :)
I have been doing this too! Quarantined but with a garden equals tea in the snow. So lovely!
It really is! And I hope you’re staying warm!
White tea is the perfect tea for your surroundings 😁
Worth it just for the photograph!
How did you keep the water hot? I’ve been using a thermos for my reg sessions
I had a mini propane tank and a burner, and a tea kettle. I had to keep re-boiling the water though.
Is there a snail inside the plate?
Looks like a tea pet
What gaiwan is that?
It’s one from Bitterleaf Teas. It was a birthday gift from a friend 3-4 years ago.
This. Is that Oolong in your pot?
have you tried burning the snow though?
Beautiful! Would you mind sharing where you got the sharing pitcher? I really like the design and have been looking around for a while.
I admire your courage and tenacity.

If you're posting your tea order that just arrived or your tea stash, be sure to list the teas, why you chose them, etc. **Posts that lack a comment for context or discussion after a reasonable time may be removed.** You may also consider posting in /r/TeaPictures.
