When I first looked at this I thought that this was supposed to be a flag of the North American continent and I was like “wait they forgot Canada”
just put a sideways leaf between the first couple stripes on the left

Happy Cinco de Cuatro!!
Y’all really need to watch Arrested Development
I've seen a lot of people on other parts of the internet get offended over this flag. But they do not know the meaning of it. all that it represents is a celebration of a Mexican-Americans' heritage on both sides of the border. I think it looks really cool. and personally i would love to find a Bulgarian-American flag for my heritage
I got bored and your idea of a flag for Bulgarian-Americans kind of inspired me to make something.
[They both look terrible but if you like it, that’s cool.](https://www.reddit.com/user/Manthing81/comments/n56jnc/2_flags_i_made_for_bulgarianamericans_despite_not/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
Ignore the NSFW
French italian flag but it’s an american-mexican flag
Mexican people don't celebrate Cinco de Mayo, they mainly celebrate their Independence Day.
Yet Mexican-Americans do, and here is a flag flying in the USA.
Austria-Hungary but it's American
As a Mexican myself, this is an abomination.
As a Mexican myself, I think it looks alright
I find it fascinating (not in a bad way) that Mexican-Americans and Americans celebrate Cinco de Mayo more than Mexico itself. I wonder what caused these changes.
We don't celebrate this.
Just to point something out because i'm bored, this would be estremely illegal to record/film/own in Mexico, as it's considered a sign of "Disrespect" to the mexican flag, i personally don't mind, as i think it looks quite nice.
Also, feliz Cinco de Mayo paisanos.
Feliz cinco de mayo carnal!
That looks real bad.
I don't know what to think about this
Mexico🤝The United States
Mexico 🔫The United States
This... translates surprisingly well, IMO? Easily identifiable in what it represents, and neither country seems to overshadow the other.
I like that it keeps all the symbolism of both flags.
if those green stripes went all the way up, this really wouldnt be a bad flag
Honestly I like it
That flag looks fucking awsome
This actually looks damn good
That's a cool flag. I've never seen it before
Ahh, Cinco de Mayo, a day when Mexican troops defeated the French Army at Puebla, and also an excuse for us Americans to drink a ton of tequila shots and not go to work.
Random question, is it illegal to modify the flag? Either the Mexican or US flag, cuz I heard it was against the constitution or sumn to wear the US flag on clothes for example
Yes, I'm fairly certain that it is illegal to modify the Mexican flag.
Mexico didn't drive out any invaders of the 5th of May, the battle of Puebla only halted the French for a time but they eventually took Mexico City and basically kicked the Mexican Liberal Government out of Mexico until 1866 when the French left due to the more pressing matter of the Austro-Prussian war.
What even is Cinco De Mayo? A holiday dedicated to mayonnaise?
I hope that's a joke.
I like it a lot, and I think it's very creative.
Vexilogically speaking, that eagle eating a snake on a cactus is never going to get my approval as a proper flag. It's pretty though!
(and yes as a Canadian I do feel left out, but I'm not asking for maple leaves to be added to this already rather complex deal. i say let it remain a nice work of imaginative celebratory happiness)
What’s wrong with the eagle?
There two sides of this flag
1. Is it worn/waved by a Mexican American who is celebrates both there heritage, this is good.
If this is just waved by some random white Americans, not so good, as the history Erica invading Mexico is bit clmplicated
Well looking at the hand I’m guessing it’s the first one.
Reminds me of Infinite Jest
If Argentina would be next to the US, would Americans celebrate Veinticinco de Mayo?
happy cinco de mayo!
feliz cinco de mayo!
Happy sink of the mayo
I kind of like it. I gave my Mexican neighbor a Mexican flag a couple of days ago and he went out got an American flag and is flying both side by side on his porch. I think it's kind of sweet.
Man I love the sentiment behind the flag.... but good lord is it ugly
This shouldn't work but it somehow looks great
Is there a version where the canton is green too?
where can I buy this?
Somewhere in the Denver area? Can't say much more than that, guy had it on the back of his truck.
Almost looks like if the NYPD somehow became Mexico
My dad has a flag like that
WHY DO AMERICANS CELEBRATE 5 de Mayo???? TELL ME!!
PS: That flag looks like it took you hard work, congrats! I find it disgusting as a Mexican tho. I’m sorry.
Not mine. It was flying from the back of a Chicano's truck yesterday.
I spotted one of these back in World Youth Day 2019 in Panama
TAKE THAT, FRANCE!
The United States of Mexico
I am not a fan of mash up flags, this can be in the trash.
