Yeah. I've always been taught stake stakes-wise that, it needs to either be the end of the world or to feel like it would be for your character.

Did you explain the severity of your daughter's medical problem to the coach? As a former educator, if you didn't explain how she could go into something as bad as kidney failure, I would just think you're an over-concerned parent.

Oof. This is going to be bad. My suggestion would be to live in Burbank. Traffic is honestly going to be brutal for both of you if you try to split the difference. At least this way only one of you will be dealing with it.

They use the Bible to justify it, specifically, Genesis 30:3, which says: "And she said, Behold my maid Bilhah, go in unto her; and she shall bear upon my knees, that I may also have children by her." Basically the story is, Jacob's wife Rachel couldn't have children, so Jacob banged his slave Bilhah and the child they had was considered Rachel's.

I think it depends really. TV is waaaay more about connections and since the vast majority of jobs are out here it makes sense. If you're writing for film, you don't really need to worry about making connections with your fellow writers, you just need a script and the intro to someone in representation or at a studio/production company.

And that's totally valid. I felt the same way after learning about Idris Elba being cast in *The Dark Tower* movie. If the racial makeup of the character is important to the story, then you are losing part of the story by casting someone of a different race. It's like casting Miles Morales as a white guy. Like no, that wouldn't work, because Miles POV is a young minority. You can't tell his story without showing what he goes through as a minority in NYC, and you can't properly tell the story of Albert Wesker without the allegory of white eugenics.

I never tip for take-out. Delivery, yes. In-house dining, yes. But if I'm ordering take out, then I'm taking my time, using my gas, and literally taking the risk of getting to the restaurant, while the restaurant's job is much easier than if I were to eat in or get it delivered.

Exactly. This thing is going to turn into a flu sort of thing. You'll be getting seasonal boosters for covid for the rest of your life. Get your boosters when you need to get your boosters and learn to accept it. Covid isn't getting eradicated.
