I think this is a misconception - many “siamese looking” cats are not actually pure breed siamese cats that you could put in cat shows. There’s many cats in animal shelters that look just like this. My “siamese” was from the streets.

I have an albino in my yard as well. She has lived here for three years in one of our large trees. Squirrels actually have surprisingly small territories so I see her every single day. I’m way too attached at this point. Her name is Snowflake and I love her.

I’m curious to see how brands like J.Crew do in the new WFH world. I had always looked to J.Crew and Anne Taylor for business casual clothes for my office job. With the ability to work from home I’ve cut out that entire section from my closet. I only have loungewear and cute trendy clothes from places like Aritzia now, not clothes I’m forced to wear for the office that I wouldn’t wear in the weekend. I am younger though - most of my casual clothes would not fly in an office environment so I had to buy for that purpose.

This is super interesting and exactly what we experienced. He took longer to warm up to us humans but immediately gravitated to my cat for snuggles and comfort. Edit: Their Instagram is @puffin_loves_binx if you’d like to see more.

There’s been studies done on this. It’s a gender bias. When men are referred to only by surname, they are perceived as more famous and more important than equivalent women, who are typically referred to by their first and last names.
