No the fuck I didn’t. I said generational wealth. That doesn’t mean slavery. That means white people had more opportunity to buy a house for example, and pass that down to their kids. Who then pass that down or sell it and upgrade to a bigger house, that they can pass down to their kids. Due to how the US was structured for a very very long time this made it damn near impossible for black people due to things like slavery, income gaps, less rights, Jim Crow laws, and red lining and blockbusting. I never said anything about icelantic war refugees or people who left the United States. I don’t know where you are seeing me talking about refugees or that you could have used slavery.

As I stated before, i have no knowledge of Iceland and I am strictly talking about how it is in the United States. Everything I said 100% applies to the US alone. Also it isn’t offending to show differences on how our country treated us. White people have had it easier throughout the history of the United States compared to black people. Through many different generations, decades, and centuries. From Slavery, to Jim Crow laws, to segregation, and to redlining and blockbusting. If a white person finds it offensive to hear facts that happened in the United States that’s on them, not the facts. It’s not about hating white people, it’s about recognizing that in the United States, white people have had more opportunities as a whole compared to people of color. You are arguing a moot point about Iceland after I specifically said the United States.

Woah woah woah slow down a little bit. I never once said anything about someone being a bad person ever in my comments. We had terrible laws that hurt a lot of people, specifically minority groups. Just because there were bad laws against minority groups doesn’t make the other group bad people by being the same skin color as the ones who made the laws. I don’t believe white people are bad people. I think the people who voted and agreed that people of other skin colors aren’t worth as much as a white people are bad people sure. Being white isn’t evil, having privilege isn’t evil, and even not being able to understand it isn’t evil. Also seizing opportunities doesn’t make you a bad person. I really don’t know where you could have gotten the idea that I said that. If you can point out to me where I said white people are bad or even Americans in general I would love to see so I can properly apologize.

Ok and your point being? As I was saying the laws inside the United States up until the late 1960s were racist laws that made it so minorities (predominately black) not have the same opportunities. It may be a country, but we have many different races inside of it.

I used to believe in that but I changed the way I thought about it a little different. We as individual white people may not benefit from the way the country is, we just had more opportunity to benefit from it. For example it wasn’t illegal to redline or blockbust until the 1960s. Before that the work black people had in the United States left the vast majority not able to afford nice homes in nice areas. Especially because of segregation. This was not a hoop white people had to deal with. Then once all that became illegal and everyone had “equal opportunity” it didn’t become normal to have a black family move to a white neighborhood and be able to have a nice house, or the American dream. Through all that generational wealth isn’t even a thing for a lot of black Americans. While white people have had the opportunity to amass generational wealth. I also hated the term white privilege until I had it explained in a different way. The choices we made dictated where we were in life. Sure we can be born into poverty and wonder if we are eating as white people. We could do everything right and still fail as white people. Our privilege is being able to say that our life isn’t harder because of our color. That the reason I didn’t get called for an interview because our name was john. Recognizing we as white people have privilege doesn’t mean that we didn’t work our asses off for where we are, it’s just saying that we didn’t have to worry that our skin color was holding us back from opportunity.

You need to really re-evaluate your life. The way the question is phrased seems like this is something you have said and want to be more apologetic than just a brush off the back. If this isn’t the case, to anyone who is feeling that way please just think about what I’m going to write for a little bit. Self reflect and if I’m wrong, well the tell me to go fuck myself. 1) the quote “ drunk words are sober thoughts” have some weight. Not full weight but some so let’s break it down. Alcohol let’s people be loose. Act more impulsively. I’ve said nasty and angry things to people I love when I’m drunk because I’m very reactionary. I didn’t mean any of that stuff about them. I meant it about myself. So let’s dive further down. A lot of the time people act like a dick sober, is they are hurting. Those bullies in school, they were hurting somewhere. It could have been an active thing they were going through, could have been repressed trauma. A very very small percentage of bullies were bullies just because. They had something they haven’t processed. Drunk people are the same way. We all let our guard down a little. We allow ourselves to show more of ourselves. That’s why “ i need to loosen up and take a drink “ is a common thing. Why a drink before a speech can help people. It lets people let down their guard on not only fears, but themselves. I was once an angry bitter drunk. I hated the world, I hated myself, and I just hated living. Sober you could see that a little bit. When I was drunk though, I let it all out. Once I started to process my trauma, my hurt, and my pain. I suddenly was a little nicer when I drank. I wasn’t as bitter or angry. Re-evaluate your life by seeing what bothers you, why are you acting like a dick. Why are you getting triggered? When you start to ask yourself these questions you will start to think of stuff that is bothering you. Go deeper. Once you find out what is the underlying cause. Get help. It could be therapy, support groups, or just a good friend who cares about you. I don’t believe people are just dicks when they drink, they just allow their hurt to be shown. The way it shows is different. That’s why you have the sad drunks, the happy drunks that are overcompensating, the loud drunks, the alcoholics, and the mean drunks. Take care of yourself. Stopping drinking because you can be a dick is nice, but we have one life and when you reflect on things that can hurt so you can grow and move past them, your life becomes so much easier. I believe in every single person that reads this that you can take control of your life and be the best fucking person you can be.

When I realized I was only an asshole because I wasn’t happy with myself. People who are hurting, hurt others. Every single one of the assholes you meet are hurting somewhere in life. It could be something as repressed as no real father or mother figure, or they could be actively hurting. When I was an asshole, I was an addict/ in recovery from an abusive treatment center. I watched my friends die, I watched my friends turn into terrible humans, and I watched my abusers walk free. I was in pain as an addict because I never felt love. I never felt like I was enough. When I was clean it was all the reasons above. Once I started dealing with my pain I realized how deep it actually was. Now I am a huge advocate for mental health and talking through pain. I do my best to be the best person I can be so I can help people step away from the paths I previously walked. When you heal, you heal.

It was at my house. Kinda. I was about 4 years old and my brothers and sisters are significantly older than me. The youngest is 15 the oldest is 22 at the time. My twin brothers are 17. The twins decided to sneak out and go to a party. This house was extremely easy to sneak out of since their window didn’t have a screen and was facing the front lawn. They get piss drunk and decide to come home around 12-2 am. They sneak 3 of their friends into their room to stay the night so their parents don’t find out they are drinking. That night there was an issue with some of our lights outside that cause a spark in our garage. Long story short. We had a massive house fire. The garage luckily got the worst of it but there was so much smoke damage that they had to tear and rebuild the parts of the house still standing. My mother ran into our rooms to get us out of the house. Tripped over my brothers friends who weren’t supposed to be there. Needless to say they had to call their parents to pick them up, and my family lost just about everything.

Far right Italians- Americans piss me the fuck off. So fucking much. I’m 100% Italian American as far back as I can trace. All my grandparents immigrated here back in the late 20s early 30s. The amount of hate, racism, and fucked up things that have happened to them is insane. My father was beat up for being Italian in a white neighborhood. My grandfathers business was shot up. It was a really tough time for Italian Americans. Then the civil rights movement Happened and white racists were like “ oh shit you’re good now, let’s team up to stop civil rights. “ the same shit the far right say about every group is the same shit they said about their grandparents. The terrible things my grandparents and my dad (thankfully my mom only got called racial slurs here and there) had went through, is being said and done by their own fucking people towards another group. Not even 3 generations down the line. You would think they would hear these terrible things and make sure they stood up for people to prevent that towards another. Nope.

Also since this is unethical life pro tips I got you covered on this. If he doesn’t want to release you from the contract. Make his job a nightmare. 1) Wake up early. I’m talking 5 am early. Blow his phone up with “I want you to send me this house and that house” make him preview as many possible homes. Oh he stops work at 5. Blow his phone up at 8. 2) never like a home. Always say something is off about the feeling of it. Never give him an exact reason of why you don’t like it. 3) ask him the most random fucking questions about homes you can think of. Something where he needs to call the other agent. Something that wouldn’t be on a typical section one report that could be available on the MLS. Ask about foundation issues, zoning rules, HOA inclusions. Anything that he can’t just look up on the MLS. That way he is doing way more work. 4) change your mind on your requirements consistently. Oh you wanted a 3 bedroom house. Well now you want a 4 bedroom. Eh fuck it you want a studio apartment. 5) then here is the really really bad one. Might as well make him look stupid. Make shitty offers. Oh this house is 400 grand. Make him write on offer for 250 and make it a 3 month escrow. Offer nothing besides that. Then call the listing agent once the offer is sent and make sure they receive it. That way they see him as someone who writes shitty offers and puts his name lower on the list when they present other offers he writes for other clients. Make him fire you. If he refuses to work he breaks his contract he loves so much

This agent is lying through his/her teeth and report them to their broker and the local realtor association. If you fire him. Use someone else and that new agents finds you a home, writes the offer and does everything without the first agent they don’t owe him shit, and you don’t owe them shit. Source. Am realtor. Am not piece of shit realtor. Edit to add more detail If first agent has you signed and shows you a property or sends you a property they are considered procuring cause. Means they are entitled to compensation. You can not back out of that contract to not pay them. You can’t use someone else to not pay them. Now if you cancel that contract. Legally write him and say you are no longer working with that agent/brokerage and you get new representation and they show you a house that he hasn’t, he is no longer procuring cause. You have it written that he is no longer representing you. He has not done anything to assist you with this. Do not send him a single house, if you do he has a case of “ they sent me stuff so I figured they were still working with me” which can get him money at the close of escrow. Tell this agent to fuck off and cancel the contract. If he does not call the local realtor association. If you can’t find the local one, dm me the county and I’ll find it for you and give you the numbers to open a formal complaint. He may own his own brokerage but he still has to listen to the local association of realtors and the national association. Fuck these agents that make my career look bad.

Yo VA loans are a pain in the ass in a sellers market, but a major major major benefit in a buyers market. Mainly because section one NEEDS to be done before the close of escrow. Guess who generally pays that. The seller, because it’s the damage they caused/ had happen when they owned the property due to wear and tear. If you never owned btw please please please look up mortgage credit certificate. If you’re approved ( my county is like 300ish for application but can vary county to county/ state to state) you can get up to 20% of the interest you pay on your home loan as a tax credit, not a write off. My area 2k a month in interest alone is normal on the low side. 2k times 12 months is 24k. 20% of that is 4,800 bucks max coming to you in top of your tax returns. Then the remaining 80% you pay is a tax write off still. Also since it’s measurable income lenders can use that as qualifying income making your preapproval even higher so the selling side could see “ the offer is 200k but they are approved for 220k” they seem more of a viable option than someone offering the same with an approval at 205k. Also with VA loans this is a little harder because sometimes the VA likes to take their fucking sweet time with getting appraisers out for the property, but ask the seller agent what are the terms their client are looking for. Let’s say they want a few extra weeks to say goodbye to the house and their memories you can offer 14 days extra days( really any number of days you want though) for them to stay in the house after the close of escrow. Maybe they want a quicker close and the lender could close the loan in 17 days instead of boiler plate 21. This could be a huge bargaining tool instead of just more money. Best of luck out there

In a lot of states it’s not even restaurant owners not paying. It’s the government taxing tips even more. For example in CA servers make minimum wage. My area is 13 an hour, so let’s say 20 hours a week is 260. 520 for a bimonthly check. You have your regular taxes. You should have roughly 450-475ish after tax. Now they tax tips in ca where you are legally required to claim 10% of your sales. So if you sell 1k a night working four nights a week you need to claim 800 dollars. (100x8) the government then taxes you as if you made a total of 1320 (520+800) but taking it out of a check of 520 starting. You’re lucky to get a 100 dollar check while your employer is paying the full price.

Honestly I would switch the 2060 super for a 5700XT. The 5700XT could save you 20 bucks and it's comparable to the 2070 super. With that I would get the Asus b550m-a because it has built in wifi 6 and I have had great results with that. If you can bump up an extra 100 bucks I highly recommend getting the ryzen 7 3700x to better “future proof”

It wasn’t a funeral but the memorial service. My friend passed away obviously. We had a large group of people about 200+ total through the years that would hang out at the local skatepark with us. The crazy nights would have 30-50 people. It was a party every night, too many people for the cops to do anything since we always cleaned up after ourselves. We sold drugs, did drugs, and did it all in public. We were dumb teenagers feeling like if we were faster than the guy next to us, we would never get in trouble. We all went down different paths, some went on to go to college or get a good job. Others smoked crystal, the usual friend departing story. At my friends memorial we had it at the skatepark. Most of us haven’t seen each other in 8-10 years. Well let’s just say this. Old drama from almost a decade ago came up with some people. One dude punched a friends girlfriend. Then a brawl of about 20 people broke out. All at a memorial service.
